Dollar General — Local services in Foristell

This place was perfect up until today - the store was clean and quiet, the staff helpful, and the self-checkout super easy to manage. Today I was made aware they 'removed' self-checkout all together. I understand there's a lot of mixed feelings about self-checkout but I generally don't mind it since most cashiers nowadays get no training, and I like being able to change my mind about an item on the fly. But having to awkwardly stand next to an employee as they scan my stuff like I'm a toddler is not a great vibe and takes extra time. Even if they replace the three self-checkouts with 1 extra in-person cashier, I'm probably just going to skip this place all together. It is too small for this nonsense. So much for the first grocer...

Store has came a long ways: staff, store organization, and just overall the nice and clean open isles! If you haven't stopped at this one go to this one, then another dollar general then make ur comparison. It’s my favorite dg to go to without having any obstacles, they have what I need and I’m not feeling like...

This store used to be nice, but not anymore. Usually only one person working and the self checkouts are not being used anymore. After waiting 10 + minutes for someone to check me out, I left. Also, the sidewalks were extremely icy and not treated at all and it's been a week...
