Country Pride — Restaurant in Foristell

Maybe the chef and our waitress were having a bad day, but for whatever reason, we had a really bad breakfast. My hash browns were very undercooked and were almost white in color with no part crispy. My eggs came out completely wrong (ordered scrambled hard and received over medium), and of course it would have been useless to have them re-cooked as the rest my breakfast would have gotten cold, plus I would not have been eating with my wife. The toast was barely toasted and the sausage was so greasy I had to pat it with napkins just so I could eat it. I also ordered some sausage gravy, which was so salty it was inedible, and I have a high tolerance for salt, so it had to be very salty.

Our waitress was pleasant enough, but never came back to check on us until she brought the check. I understand I could have complained and perhaps had some of these things fixed, but since we were traveling, it just wasn't worth it. I definitely do not recommend this restaurant...

Dreadful food. Cook needs to learn how to cook a med rare steak and loaded baked potato. I really felt sorry for the elderly waitress, by herself and customers, kept coming and coming. She definitely had her hands full. But after taking my order, she brought my salad. All good, till... I looked up and she was standing over me, with a look of disparir. She had forgotten to put my meal in. So the steak and potato, were going to be a bit longer.. About 20 mins later. It showed up. The potato dried out, like it had been sitting in a warmer, since yesterday. The steak, overly well done. No juice, what so ever. I didn't have the heart, to complain, to the waitress. I was very impressed with this restaurant. The salad and soup bar were amazing. A great selection of choices and all super fresh. They even had chilled plates. The prices were fair and the waitresses were great! They refilled my soda and took away my trash as soon as they hit the table. The neighboring tables ordered breakfast and hamburgers and the food all looked and smelled amazing. I heard no complaints from them either. The place was very clean and even the restrooms were clean. This place is a hidden gem! I will...
