Five Below — Local services in Fort Myers

My wife went into your store recently, and she is someone who truly enjoys Halloween and was excited to shop for decorations. Unfortunately, during her visit, she experienced an incident that left her very upset. One of the employees, a young man with short dreadlocks, followed her throughout the store and later made an inappropriate and offensive comment at the register regarding his personal life. This behavior made her feel extremely uncomfortable and unsafe. She called me in tears afterward, saying she only wanted to enjoy shopping in peace. Because of this experience, she does not feel comfortable returning to the store. I am very disappointed and concerned that this type of behavior occurred, and I hope it will be addressed so no one else has to go through a similar experience. Sexual harrassment is never okay.... they also follow you through the entire store as if you're trying to steal something......

Love this place. Everything is 5 bucks or lower. You can find some pretty great items sometimes that have been liquidated from other retail stores so I check often for those rare items that aren't part of their normal stock. Some of their regular stock is really great too. I sometimes come in just to pick up a couple of their usb c charging cables for my note 8 so I have extras around the house and for trips. The braided cables they sell are actually made with better quality than the ones sold by samsung and are also longer. The cashier told me the other day that the store now has a policy where if your charging cables from them ever stop working for any reason you can bring it back for a replacement at any time....

I love Five Below. Their name should be revised though because they have item for $10, $15 and even $20. Although I do love the unique items that they do have. The staff that just stands there greeting customers are friendly enough. However I don't like the fact that I have to work there and check myself out. I already have a full time job Monday through Friday. Where has the customer service gone? Oh that's right, it went when COVID hit us. It was wavering before COVID and now it's nearly gone...
