My recent visit to Qdoba was overshadowed by an uncomfortable and unprofessional display between employees. A portion issue aside, where I received merely a third of what should have been served, the public correction of an employee was what truly marred my experience.

An employee, evidently trying to navigate her role efficiently, was constantly sabotaged and micromanaged by a colleague who switched between server lines and seemed intent on causing a mishap. It became visibly clear that he was ready to involve management at the smallest misstep, with his finger literally on the dial, awaiting an opportunity to call the ā€œbossā€ over an inconsequential misstep. The moment arose when she accommodated a customer’s request regarding protein portions - a practice I’ve witnessed multiple times over my 20-year patronage without issue.

The male employee, without hesitation, intruded upon the transaction, blatantly disrupting the order process and publicly correcting her in a manner unbefitting of a customer-facing environment. The undercurrent of his actions and his overt readiness to report her suggested a deeply ingrained personal issue with his colleague. This, coupled with what seemed like a targeted effort against her, lent an unsavory and discriminatory tone to the interaction, particularly given the absence of any clear violation of procedure on her part.

Maintaining professionalism, especially in a fast-food environment, should be paramount, ensuring that customers, like myself, are spared from internal disputes and policy enforcement during our dining experience. The palpable tension and blatant disrespect exhibited during my visit are wholly incongruent with the customer-focused experiences I’ve known from Qdoba over the decades. Until reassurances of a more professional and comfortable dining environment are evident, I will not be returning to...

I know this is a new location and I know the staff is still getting use to things so i'll address everything objectively and hopefully it just improves with time.

The workers were nice and the place was clean.

The the quesadilla, bowl and burrito sizes have to increase to keep up with the price. The worker put tablespoon amounts of ingredients on my quesadilla and when it was ready, only 5/8ths of the quesadilla was filled. the other 1/4th was tortilla.

#2 wouldn't be an issue had the price not been on par or maybe a little higher than their competitors. Very small portions of entree and chips for $15. Way too small. With this size, the out the door price should be maybe ~$11?

The chips tasted incredibly good. Salty, crispy and warm. The chips here are much better than competitors.

The queso was hot, tasted fresh and complimented the chips very well. I even dipped my quesadillas in it.

Pick-up. There was only 1 person working pickup and I saw about 3 people waiting maybe 10 mins for their order on top of several more orders pending on the screen. Maybe have 2 people knocking out orders, 2 people on the line and 1 at register? Just an observation - not telling you guys how to run the place or maybe you do and someone called in... who knows.

I think once they give bigger portions (or decrease price) and beef up the staff it'll be worthy of 5 stars. The formula is there...

I was looking for a chipotle alternative and found this place and I had similar ingredients for their bowls and I thought it would be a great option for lunch. When I went in the manager told the staff member that a new staff member needed to help me so he could learn, but then offered no guidance to the new staff member whatsoever. This was also my first time coming to this company. The new staff member didn’t really know what portions to put in the bowl, and was confused when I asked for corn salsa. At the end, the manager finally offered advice and told the new staff member to spread the ingredients around the bowl and then proceeded to add more cheese, lettuce, and corn to my bowl even though I did not ask for that , I asked to go. The new staff member disappeared and the manager rung me up and then also disappeared leaving my bowl sitting there next to the cash register, I put a lid on my bowl grabbed it and left after paying. I was already disappointed looking at the rice and the beans and the chicken that they placed into the bowl but decided after spending $11.75 , that would give this a shot. I live four minutes from the restaurant and when I started to eat the bowl naturally the bowl was extremely cold. I was hoping for a chipotle alternative, but this place is far inferior to chipotle and costs more money for a substandard bowl . The service was terrible and I will never return...

I do not care to be treated like a thief. I was picking up my coworkers and my own order for lunch. I am typically the one who goes to get our lunches and I have never ever been asked to show a order confirmation print out or been treated like a thief. The man said that he was the store manager and it was company policy not to give orders without the email confirmation. I offered him my ID and said if there's a problem, then you can identify me. He refused to accept it. I really felt like I was being treated unfairly as several other costumers came up and received their orders without being asked to show their email confirmation. I really felt like he thought I was a thief or trying to steal food. Upon return and venting to coworkers we noticed it says on the confirmation itself "Note: You do not need this number to pickup". I then later called the store to ask for the managers name so I could include it in my complaint to corporate and he refused to give me his name AND THEN HUNG UP ON ME! I believe when he answered the phone he said his name was Dominic, but I am not completely sure as I was switching hands with the phone as he answered, but I believe he said his name was Dominic. The food was amazing, really good quality, however I will not eat at this location again just because of the manager being an unpleasant jerk.

The manager was on the phone with a personal call the whole time I was trying to order, and called on an employee who spoke 0 English to take my order. I could not convey in Spanish clearly enough to get what I wanted, so I had to point to each thing. The employee was very clearly not trained on how to portion out anything. What you see here is a single scoop of rice, a half scoop of chicken (I asked for a double portion), one scoop of queso, and then I think the employee realized my bowl looked empty so I got a triple serving of cheese and guac instead of adding more rice and meat. The second photo is after I mixed everything up. Looks great! 0/10 would not recommend this location to anyone.
