Woodland Hills Golf Course — Local services in Fort Scott

My friends and I went to play 9 holes towards the end of the day with hardly anyone on the course. We spent quite a bit of money. We had 8 individuals in our group (paid twice for one individual unknowingly). Rented 4 golf carts, bought a ton of balls and Tees and bought their overpriced beer. Course was in bad shape. Trees were down all over the place. We got 4 holes deep before an employee came out to where we were teeing off and told us we weren't able to have so many in our group. That's when I stated that the cashier should have informed us of this policy wen we were all standing in the club house paying. So I then said if you reimburse us half our money we would just leave seeing how it was their mistake in the first place. The employee refused this and threatened to call the cops on us and continued to harass us until we eventually just threw our hands up and left. Since they basically stole our money and harassed us I advise anyone and everyone to avoid giving this place...

I really wanted to like this course, but it was just absolutely worn out especially for mid-April. Fairways were bare mud in most places. Just really rough. Several sandy blowouts on greens.
