First off the receptionist we’re kind and good they should get 5 stars. There was two people ahead of me so i figured I’d be in the waiting room for at least 40 minutes nope it was an hour. Then the nurse calls me in and does her thing that too about 20 minutes , which was fine. Next the doctor came in looked at the infection. Prescribed me the good and after she said let’s do a tetanus shot so I waited and waited. I didn’t know what to do because I can hear them discussing about me and that made me uncomfortable. After waiting for a she came back in with a piece of paper to sign and left. I waited for another 20 minutes and nothing so I went outside and tried to find them they weren’t there. So i waited another 10 minutes untill I heard someone walking by so I asked the nurse if they were gonna do anything.I Waited a land the doctor came back in. After moving to Fort Scott several years ago I continued to drive an hour to see a physician in the community I had moved from because I had relationships with my doctor and their staff. After two years of driving back and forth I decided to search for a local medical staff. My criteria included professionalism, knowledge, a high level of empathy, a personable staff, and of course trust. I asked everyone I knew, "who is your physician and why?" I contacted many area facilities and decided on CHC of SEK because I found these attributes in their staff. From the doctors, nurses, lab, office staff, etc - all professional, knowledgeable, and easy to work with. On February 24th I had an appointment with Dr. Hannah Swagerty. Very upset too. She came in to the room and was not personable at all. In fact she made me feel like she was looking down on me. I'm better than you type of thing. She wanted to change my meds around taking me off of some and putting me on something different. I felt like why change something when its working. What she wanted to put me on I had been on before and they didn't work. I set there and thought I don't have to put up with this. Because she wouldn't listen to me I got up and walked out Then I went to the front and made an appointment to see Katherine Orme for the very next day.
