Yeager Hardware — Local services in Fort Smith

I love going to Yeager's. They remind me a lot like the old hardware stores back in the day. I can live without all of the nice shiney shelves, floors etc as long as I can get assistance with what I need, and I do. I have been to Lowe's, Sutherland's and Atwood's and each time at all three places, I have to try to hunt down someone to help me and a lot of times, I find absolutely NO ONE. Doug at the Rogers avenue store and Trey at the Jenny Kind store are right there to help. I would highly recommend Yeager's to anyone.

No. For the post part there are no changes. However, they are carrying more spring plants, trees and other items than they have carried in the past, or at least I think so. Was there today, 4-23-24 just looking over everything and was amazed at the variety of everything....

Ive been to this store many times in the past with no issue. Today was completely different. I came in with some pipe fittings that i needed to piece together, i didnt know exactly what i needed so i brought them with me to make sure they fit. I wasnt even in the store for more than 2 minutes before i was interrogated by an employee. Claiming that i was "acting weird", and assumed i was stealing. When i had nothing in my hands that i didnt walk in with? I stating i bought these online and had receipts of the transactions (not to mention the items i brought with me were products they dont even sell). After this i was left alone, i just walked out. Its kinda sad to be treated that way as a customer that frequently...

I saw a face mask and asked who made it ... I was told it came from Yeagers on Jenny Lind ... I looked up their website ... immediately a pop-up said if you have a question just click here and text us ... so I did ... not expecting to hear anything quickly or at all (with some companies during Covid-19 ... being closed or having limited hours) ... but almost instantly I received a reply to my question ... and an offer to hold the items for me (I did not ask them to hold anything ... as during Covid-19 everything has been on a ‘first come first serve’ basis) ... I am thankful that they are offering to hold the items for me ... I appreciate Yeagers very much for the quick response! I love this Yeagers...
