LINDA-N-D’S DRIVE IN & TAKE OUT — Restaurant in Fort Smith

SHORT VERSION: Great food. Go there now.

LONG VERSION: Today I was out running errands, and decided that I I really wanted a hot dog. However, I didn't want to go to Sonic or gas station, so I asked Google for "hot dogs near me".

Of course it returned Sonic and Freddy's, but then I saw something I had not seen before: "Linda-N-D's Drive In & Take Out". The reviews were good, and the pictures seemed pretty good, so I thought, why not?

I am incredibly glad I did!

I walked up to the window where I was greeted by Linda. She asked if I'd like to see a menu, to which I rather lamely replied, "That's okay, I saw online that you had chili dogs. That's what I'd like." Specifically, I had the combo as it came with a drink and I selected fries as my side.

Linda advised me that everything was made fresh, and that she'd bring my drink and then start on my order. I then took my drink, sat down at a table, and shortly had a pleasant conversation with a man I soon learned was D himself.

Linda brought my food to the pickup window, and I thanked her. I was shocked when I opened the box...there was a large portion of fries, and an amazing looking chili cheese dog. The fries were done to perfection and salted perfectly with that specific drive in season salt, and the hot dog had a fantastic smokey flavor. It was an awesome meal.

Listen, I know this review is long, but I am beyond glad I stumbled onto this gem and anyone reading this should absolutely give Linda and D a visit. They are wonderfully kind people cooking up killer drive in food! I'm definitely looking forward...

What to say about Linda and Dee's Drive-In? Well the easier question would be what not to say! I have never in my life introduced a burger that tasted so great to my taste buds I will never eat a burger at any other place as long as I'm living in fort Smith Arkansas ! great job you guys and I say that from the bottom of my heart and my stomach LOL I have got to experience a few different items on their menu and every last one of them I would give a five-star restaurant quality flavor presentation and freshness these people are seriously bending over backwards to make their customers happy,!! so check this out y'all, if y'all don't eat at Linda and Dee's, (You're cheating yourself out of the best dadgum hamburger you'll ever eat!)oh and the onion rings? oh my Gosh the onion rings are to die for!!! The chicken strip dinner complete with your favorite drink will fill the appetite of paul bunion and I can't forget about my favorite quick to go street tacos season 2 perfection was onions and cilantro sliced lime and your favorite salsa absolutely amazing made straight from the hands and Mr D I cannot forget about Miss Linda's gizzards oh my goodness they melt in your mouth tenderest darn gizzards you'll ever eat full of flavor and if you're lucky you catch Miss linda on a day where she makes soul food, them greens are to die for I mean die for keep up the good work.and thank you for the love I taste in every bite! and I'll see you again and again and again and remember if you don't eat at Linda and Dee's you're both losing money the menu prices are very easy...

Man! I would say that this place is "just like the old days," but I don't remember the old days ever being this good! The owners are overly kind. The service is top notch and the portions are large enough to make two meals for most people. The food is outstanding. My burger had a toasted premium bun, a large patty, and two types of cheese. Their house sauce is very good. I decided I would be brave and try for the double burger and couldn't fit it into my mouth! :D What a great problem to have!
