Dollar General in Fort Valley, Ga allowed an employee to scream at me. When I asked a question the employee was very rude. So I approached management to explain why I felt it was rude to treat customers in such a manner. But I wasn't allowed to speak because the rude employee was standing over me yelling at me. Nothing was done. Just trying to calm down the employee but no thought to the customer he was rude to, screaming at. I was even followed out of the store by the screaming employee. It's such a small town there are not many places to shop. If management won't take care of the customers, are we expected to be yelled at every time we need to go to this...
   Read moreWe went there to get some Amonia to clean the carpets with. They didn't have any, so I decided to substitute all purpose cleaning vinegar instead. When we got home I mixed the vinegar and water and put it in the Bissell quick steamer and started to clean the carpets, but the machine malfunctioned and didn't vacuum up the vinegar. It made the whole house smell like vinegar for about three hours, and kind of ruined my day! I think maybe the fates were trying to tell me something. Not Dollar General's fault though. There was only two cashiers for the time of day and the one was out for a break and was late coming back. When she came back, she came back with an attitude. Our cashier had to keep calling the manager for voids for customers ahead of us, while calling those customers by name, making comments about the other cashier getting fired... lol... wow.
