PokeCharles Cards and Collectibles — Local services in Fort Walton Beach

First off I’ve talked to many managers of stores in town that used to have pokemon on the shelves, and they all say this owner scalps product from their store to sell at a mark up! Very disappointed after buying one of the surprise lunch boxes I’ve been looking for. Cracked it open to feel the packaging being 3 times as thick as normal Pokemon packaging, cracked the packs inside to find heavy amounts of glue at the edges of the booster packs, the cards in one pack were even backwards. Heavy scratches on the promo cards & coin because it had been previously opened as well as the packs. After this experience I won’t be returning to pokecharles, as I cannot trust the authenticity of the already MARKED up items. I will wait in line at gamestops, at least I can trust I get a untampered with product. My guess is they purchase from scalpers & other private means… Edit: 7/14/25 That is interesting considering I’ve asked a couple times where the product comes from and I’ve been told by staff that “it’s hard to get things from the distributor so sometimes shops will buy private sale”. Took my son here for the first time yesterday. They did open later than the time they was supposed to. That’s okay though! Life happens, we enjoyed our time here. Amazing people and great card selection along with booster packs, elite boxes and more. Me and my son bought a premium Charizard box and had some of the best pulls ever from it. Along from the 3 charizards that come with it we pulled 2 other ones. We also picked up a lot of singles to add to the collection at home.

All together great experiences and will be back...

I've been to a lot of card shows, conventions, and stores and I can honestly say this shop is one of the very best there is. Truly cares about the collector and community they are building.

I think "Bull" markets can really show you as a collector and consumer where you want to build the foundation of a local community, and Pokecharles is just that!
