The lady in the pic identified herself as Karen. She decided to live up to her name. I ordered a Nitro cold brew with cold foam vanilla cream on top. Theyāre running a special and got my order confused for it. So when I asked for it to be remade like the normal nitro cold brew with foam on top (not cream mixed in), the girl, Becca, was confused and consulted with Karen. Karen then decided to yell at me across the coffee bar in meijer, while she had a line of three people waiting to order. She kept insisting I ordered it wrong and attempted to tell me the right way to order (which is what I ordered). I told her I ordered correctly and I think she was confused and then asked if there was a problem? Was there a price difference? She says no, and then proceeds to say, āWell you need to know how to order it right in futureā¦ā and begins to lecture me, loudly. It was mortifying. I told her I was not engaging in a fight over it while she was three deep in customers, and asked Becca just to continue remaking it (she was almost done), which Karen proceeds to CONTINUE ranting at me while an old lady is right at her register trying to order. I had my headphones in and luckily just spoke to her to stop yelling at me across the bar and that she was being incredibly unprofessional and rude, and that I couldnāt believe this was happening. Never in my life have I encountered something like this, she was adamant about winning a fight I never wanted to participate in! I hope management reflects on who they have in their stores, too. Iāve worked at coffee shops for years in college, too, and no way would I have ever spoken to a customer in that manner. And I come here to order this ALL THE TIME....

Rating: āāā
The Meijer located at 10301 IN-37 Hwy, Fort Wayne, IN 46835 offers a mediocre shopping experience. While it has some positive aspects, there are also areas that could be improved.
Firstly, the store is conveniently located with ample parking available. The exterior is well-maintained, and the layout inside is generally organized. However, there are instances when certain sections can feel congested, making it slightly difficult to navigate through the aisles.
The customer service at this Meijer is inconsistent. Some staff members are friendly and helpful, while others appear disinterested and unmotivated. It would be beneficial for the store to focus on providing consistent training and ensuring that all employees deliver excellent customer service.
The product selection is decent, with a range of items available across various departments. However, there have been occasions when specific items were out of stock or in limited supply. The store could improve its inventory management to ensure a more reliable shopping experience.
The checkout process can be slow during peak hours, resulting in long lines and limited open registers. This can lead to frustration and increased wait times.
Overall, the Meijer at 10301 IN-37 Hwy, Fort Wayne, IN 46835 offers a mediocre shopping experience. While it has convenient parking and a decent product selection, improvements in customer service and inventory management would significantly enhance the overall experience...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreJust went to the Meijer off Maysville rd. Zero carts inside for you to use. Apparently they don't go out and collect carts when it rains out. I guess it's only arm carrying during these wet times. So I tried to call the store and complain. I got sent to a call center who tried to connect me to the Store Director. They passed the buck to another extension so the customer service lady tried to connect me to that number. No results so she tried to connect me back to the Store Director. The Store Director passed the buck to another extension. Again, no results. The poor customer service lady tried the Store Director a THIRD time and tired connecting me to a 3RD extension. So glad the Store Director at this store actually takes the reins and to deal with something, oh wait they don't. So the customer service lady finally got me to someone alive at this place, and after 10 min on the phone, the lady I talked to said that she had 6 TEAMS out collecting carts as we spoke. 6 TEAMS.... Yet zero carts inside. Hmmmmm I smell Bull Crude. I actually looked outside to see if anyone was collecting carts and I saw 1 person doing it and heading towards the other side of the building. So if you go to this store, you may have to carry your own groceries cause apparently the cart collectors only go out when it's nice out. I'll be going to the Walmart across the street from now on. They may not be as clean and organized, but at least I won't have to carry my...
