Today I had brunch with my family of 9 (3 kids, 6 adults). We waited 45 minutes which was expected; however we waited 65 minutes due to a mistake by the hostess/another family whom arrived after us, also family of 9 was seated as are name. I addressed it when it happen, the hostess said our name but not the number of people and quickly said different family name and number. I asked the hostess about it, it was a genuine mistake it sounded like. After about 65 minutes we noticed a lot more familirs were seated before us whom arrived after us. I asked the hostess how much longer of a wait, they thought they seated us outside (the other family). They quickly got us situated which I appreciate. I really felt the manager was not as apologetic nor care has he should of. I understand covid is going on, but this place really was not close to what is currently allowed by the state in fullness. I asked if we could put tables together he said no, the tables were diagonal about 4 at each. Whatever, but we could atleast done foot or so apart as other restaruant try work though the same problems have done. The restaurant did not have any chocolate milk. I want to note Kelli service was great and the store staff was awesome. I really expected the manager to go above and beyond, I really expected an apology to our family near end our meal. Hopefully dessert or money off our check, but the cold bottom line was not an apology to us was received as he checked on us near the end of our meal. The final chance to try make it right or atleast acknowledge. I checked out and i asked the cashier how I could contact corporate. She handled it very well but was missing a paper or business card, so she asked the manager to come help. That was fine, i would gave the manager one more shot; however the gentleman came in the store and screamed out real loud whom is looking for the manager. The whole store looked filled with customers looked, i was so embaressed for my family. I could not believe he did that. He could of asked the co worker whom the individual was. I couldnt help but breakdown and cry from the embaressment. I will never be back to Crack Barrel period. I tried to do the right things, but this gentleman just put the icing on the cake with...

Last time, (I should have written a review), I was promptly seated and startedy stopwatch... I left after 3 minutes of watch one server talking to guests on her life endeavors, and the other 2 or 3 servers just kept on bussing tables, and no one even made eye contact with me.
I tried again today, and waited at the checkin podium so long, I had to ask a cashit if I should seat myself.
She did respond, until I felt ignored and had to walk out... She made some unintelligible comment, but didn't really seem too friendly, or attentive.
Earlier this week, I had mentioned that a garbage can had been overflowing and even had trash next to it for about five days.
She blamed it on "campers," of which I am a camper. I found this a rude putoff, but she assured me that the trash is retrieved by the night crew.
I returned for just one more attempt to be treated like I existed..
The garage is still overflowing in that same can, and has been for a week now... (I know, because I came back just to see every day.)
I'm through!
I named this my favorite location because of the service and that it still has the decor that attracted me to cracker barrel decades ago.
But this location has ended my relationship with CB.
I'm not one of the 'younger crowd' that you're trying to attract, so I suppose this is why I've been ignored (at this same store) more than I've been able to eat there.
This is sad to me, and frustrating.
I'll continue to use your parking lots, restrooms... That's pretty much the amount of value I play on this once...
Read moreRV Parky indicated Overnight Parking was Allowed so we pulled into the lot ( no markings were found for RV parking however we called to confirm. The young lady was unsure but didn't think we could park overnight. She was very nice and after I asked to speak to a manager she pleasantly obliged . The manager said of course we could stay and would be looking for us. When we went in for dinner a few hours later it was very busy and a Customer was expressing his unsatisfactory experiences of the evening with other customers encouraging them to leave. Apparently a cook had walked out leaving the restaurant understaffed. Even with the adverse conditions the entire restaurant worked as a team by keeping everyone updated on their order and their drinks filled. They also keep the fireplace going and the floor swept inspite of the youngsters at the next table shredding their napkins on the floor. Even with all of this our food was a little delayed yet very hot and tasty. When I complimented the manager he was noticeably surprised but happy to hear of our satisfaction. I HIGHLY recommend this location even with the road noise. We not only had a good meal we also had a good nights sleep. As a footnote I am a retired Retail Auditor. It was my job to enter Retail Establishments unannounced and review each one under "Real Life" conditions. When working at a corporate level I have even been responsible for releasing and replacing entire store staff. Please do not take this review lightly. I gave "THEM" 5 Stars because they earned them in every way. I would give more...
