I've never had so many misdelivered packages since moving here. I've had to fight to prove that I never received them with the sellers so I could get my money back. Which isn't their fault but the postal delivery people need to be better aware of what & who's packages they're delivering to. I know the packages have to be going to the opposite end of our road to another address that is very similar to mine but those people wouldn't ever admit that they've received our orders by mistake - they'd rather steal them then give them to the rightful owner. I say that because it has happened three times in the past already. I have received a package of theirs ONE time and I returned it. I could have done the same thing they continue to but I have morals. I wish in the future the postal courier pays better attention so that I actually get the things that I work hard to purchase. otherwise I'm going to have to go to high springs and get a post office box where I never had a single issue in all the years I had a post office box there. Who's going to pay me back for this package...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis post office has terrible customer service! I sent my father to the post office with a pick up notice to collect a package that required a signature. I wrote his name on the back of the notice with my signature authorizing him to pick it up. When he got there, this very unpleasant man refused to give the package to him. He told him that he could not pick up registered mail for his daughter. He had such a horrible attitude about it too! For your information, it was not registered mail! It did not indicate that it was registered mail on the pickup notice either! He didn't even bother to look for my father's name or my signature on the back of the slip! What's worst is that I wouldn't have needed to pick up the package in the first place, if they had taken the time to drive up my driveway to get my signature, as I was home the day they tried to deliver it. Apparently, it's too inconvenient for them to even do that anymore. They just put the pick up notice in your mailbox without even attempting to find out if anybody is home! It's...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe carrier employed by this branch has killed hundreds of dollars worth of live insect shipments by placing them in a hot mailbox in full sun, even though there is a large insulated parcel box about ten feet away in our driveway (which they DO use for boxes which cannot fit into the mailbox) The insect shipments are CLEARLY MARKED as to protection from extreme temps, etc. and of course, attempting to call the P.O. phone number results in a chronic busy signal. I try to have everything shipped FedEx or UPS, but sometimes it is not possible. I just want the general public to know what kind of incompetent or uncaring people our tax dollars...
