Ek Nails — Local services in Fort Worth

It pains me to write this because I have been going to E.K. Nails for at least a year, and have spent probably close to $1,000 there, but they treated me worse than any place I've ever been today. I asked for a fill and to repair three nails that fell off after my last time there, and before the women painted my nails she said it would be $54. That costs more than a full set and paint I got last time so I said something, and voiced that I was unhappy with the shape, which I never do because I don't want to be offensive. The lady was angered and said some things I couldn't understand and the main guy came over to paint my nails with regular polish because I couldn't afford to spend over $50 today, hence why I didn't get a new set. Well, the paint rubbed off twice while I was waiting, and I was moved to the drying area. The other man told me to leave after I sat there for 10 minutes, and I explained I had to go to a baby shower and my nails weren't dry. They didn't care. I left and the polish smudged off in the car when I went to get my keys. Why couldn't I stay and let my nails dry? There were still two clients in there getting their nails done. I had to buy the nail polish so I can paint them myself. If I wanted to do that/had the time, I would have done that in the first place. They sold me the nail polish and were very rude to me. I am a student social worker and always tip at least 25%. I never complain and the first time I say something I get kicked out? DO NOT GET YOUR EYEBROWS WAXED HERE!!!!!! He waxed off half my eyebrow!!! I didn't really see it until I took a picture but I was devastated when I saw it. Also they are extremely racist and rude to black people. I cringed at their behavior toward black people who were buying products and getting their nails done. The same guy who ripped off my brow was the ugliest when dealing.with black customers. He chastised one lady who asked for another person to do her nails. She wanted someone who had experience in what she wanted. He told her that she should apologize for even asking for someone else to do it. This is my new found nail place & I am so happy to have found them. Joe & Kevin are phenomenal. So dedicated to detail. They’re not like the revolving door, fast paced nail salons that are way fancier (from where I come for the past 3years) mesmerizing you with glass chandeliers & fancy drinks but lack Customer Service cause they’re being timed to the very second cause they have a bunch of ppl waiting.
