We were so excited about this place. We called in a pick up order at 6:20 pm for 2 entrees and 2 naan. We were told it'd be 40 minutes until it's done. That seemed like quite a long time to me but I figured they were having a busy day. When I get there for pickup there's two people eating together and 1 person also waiting for their food, that's it. Definitely not busy. Then I had to wait an extra 15 minutes for my food to come out. The portions are so small and the butter chicken was soooo so soupy (see video. A $12 butter chicken portion that doesn't even fill the small container even after we added some of the provided rice). The fish korma was a winner but I can't say the same for the rest of the food. The rice is also rather bland compared to other places. For the portion size and quality the prices aren't good. Wish we'd driven 5 minutes out, gone to Maharaja and spent an extra 2/3 $ per entree to get twice as much (far better) food. Soooo disappointed. Won't be...

My boys and I have been on a roll eating at local businesses this week. Tonight, we went to the Texas Indian kabob and grill and it did not disappoint!

Our original plan had been to get takeout, but we ended up staying which was very nice.

Everything was so good that I didn't even get a chance to take pictures of the before. My husband had butter chicken. He loved the sauce and ate a good deal of it before he even ate the chicken which was very tender; tender enough that you didn't need a knife to cut it. Both my son and I had chicken tikka masala. The rice came on a separate plate from the entree but my son understood the assignment and spooned the sauce over the rice. Again, it was so flavorful and so rich. I rarely eat all of any dish when we go out, but I ate almost all of this because it was so good!

If you haven't been, I highly recommend that...

After many changes in ownership and menus over the years, I can confidently say that the new management team at Texas Indian Cuisine in Fort Worth, TX has finally gotten it right. In fact, based on my food survey, this is the best Indian restaurant in the Fort Worth area.

If you think Indian food always means overly spicy dishes that burn your tongue, this place will change your perspective. Their menu offers bold yet balanced flavors that are absolutely delicious and approachable for everyone.

The hospitality is warm and welcoming, the cleanliness is impeccable, and the prices are very reasonable for the quality you receive. It’s rare to find a restaurant that combines such excellent service with top-notch food, but Texas Indian Cuisine delivers on every level.

I highly recommend giving them a try and supporting this local gem. You’ll be...

Over the past year, I’ve tried every Indian food restaurant in Fort Worth. None of them have been awful, but not great. I have been reluctant to try the recently open Texas Indian Kebab and Grill, solely because of it name. However, after seeing all of the favorable reviews, I decided to give it a try. I tried the malai kofta, paneer tikka masala, and vegetable Samosa. They were all very good. Medium spice level is pretty standard. It’s a no-frills building. You can order at the counter or at the table. An added bonus, it’s next-door to an Indian grocery store. After a year of searching, I finally found my go to place. The restaurant business is hard, and I truly hope they can build a following.

We showed up with a large party of people who had never been here before. We are all big fans of Indian cuisine, so hopes and expectations were high. The service was exceptional; they welcomed our party warmly, managed the orders beautifully, and the food was absolutely top notch. I got to try 7 entrees, and 4 appetizers and every bite was fantastic. We will be back, no question. Easily the best Indian food around. I meant to take more photos, but after trying the first couple dishes we forgot all about it and got busy eating. Fair prices, health portions. Most places seem to be good, but "safe" with their recipes. These recipes felt much more like dinner at grandma's house.
