Escape Nail & Spa — Local services in Fort Worth

I am not sure of the pricing since I have not gone anywhere else in a while. We go a few times a year for mani/pedi. Not sure why I ever talk myself back into a mani. I always tell them that I am happy with my nail length and shape - that they DO NOT need to file them. Then before I know it, the first nail is 1/2 as long as it was and I am already angry, then my nail is filed straight, square, not rounded like they were when I got there. I said do not file my nails, I like them how they are.I am growing them out. Then when I say stop - there goes the second nail - and I GIVE UP. at least I get her to round them. But I am upset because I am there to get ready for a special event that I grew my nails for and now they are 1/2 as long. When they do file square they are ALWAYS crooked. Why dont they understand "stop" and 'do not file". And they file them all the same short lenght - even though one just broke and I was trying to keep the others long. All I asked for was the cuticles cleaned up and some clear polish and I ended up with 1/2 the length filed off, semi-square, and they talked me into color. I said yes to color in hopes that it gives the illusion of lenght. I tell myself every time that "next time I will go somewhere else" Sorry girls - but you need some more ladies that...

I decided to check this place out since its right around the corner from my house, big mistake. Their nail polish selection is horrible, very basic colors and half of them were reds. The guy that did my pedicure was rushing, I had to stop him several times to slow him down and coach him through how a pedicure should be done. He acted like the ombre look I wanted didn't exist and he didn't understand me. It had to be the worst pedi ever as I never really take the time to give bad reviews but this was so bad I started to walk out in the middle without paying. This place was the worst nail salon I think I've ever been. I went in for gel polish and pedi before I could even look at the pedi book to decide which one I wanted the lady had already decided which one I was going to get I asked do u just have a basic pedi she wanted me to get the deluxe one. Then she asks everyone around if they wanted something to drink water juice or wine. Never was I asked I was treated as if they were trying to rush me out. I paid $34 for gel polish on my nails and they look horrible all I got was gel nail polish how is that $34?.
