It only gets a two because our waitress was pretty good and the manager was attentive to my request.
Teriyaki Shrimp Lomein, Asian Pecan Shrimp w/Fried Rice, Yellow Curry Shrimp w/Noodles & House Special Sushi Roll. According hubby & my son the sushi roll was better than the rest of the food. Tbey enjoyed it. But the rest, not one dish was impressive. The sauce for the asian peacan shrimp & Teriyaki was good but the shrimp was chewy and Bland in every dish, not seasoned at all.
In the asian pecan the shrimp is slightly battered but it is served underneath the sauce so it was like having soggy bread in your meal andit made the shrimp look weird And the vegetables typically used for seasoning/flavoring your food (red & green bell peppers, onions & carrots) were cut in huged pieces and a plate full of em on all 3 of 4 meals but on the Teriyaki lo mein u only got 4 small pieces of broccoli. The noodles were not very good., i could taste whatever oil used thru the sauce. And tve froes rice was mutually distasteful.,no flavor, stuck together, no peas, carrots & scrambled eggs.it was just...., brown.
The manager was accommodating. He prepared the asian shrimp again seperating the sauce. Overall great customer service but it comes off as cheap asian food.,definitely not authentic asian food.
But again customer service was good and we did...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI grew up in the area and this place used to be great but over the years the quality keeps decreasing to the point where I just donāt find it edible anymore.
It started with small things like ingredients that used to be standard became an optional add on at a price. Like veggies in their fried rice and with their chicken dishes. The sauces started changing and became thinner and less flavorful.
Now they use the absolute cheapest ingredients and the food just doesnāt taste good. We finally decided we were done giving them a chance after our fried rice had no flavor and was barely cooked to the point of being called fried, the sauce on the orange chicken and general tsos was incredibly watery and had zero flavor, the veggies I paid extra too add on seemed to be from a pre mix bagged salad that they just grab handfuls of and throw in at once. The broccoli was raw and then cabbage was wilted and old. The chicken was not seasoned and had a really inconsistent texture.
Wont be ordering again which is a bummer because there arenāt many Chinese take out spots in DFW. Itās probably the reason they donāt feel the need to try to put...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe steady stream of customers who consistently fill this place to standing room status attests to the superb menu. My wife sends me to pick up something she called in weekly. The only shortcoming I have noticed is a relative indifference towards "call in" patrons (I overheard one employee mumbling his dissatisfaction for not receiving a tip on a call-ahead pick up). In fairness, with this degree of fast paced overflow there certainly is an inherent unnatural pressure levied on any staff. It is a known consequence of success. There does always seem to be more than adequate staff, but the large volume of business suggests that they could and possibly should add one to two more. Alternatively, additional employee best practices training to better synchronize man hours to customer needs could do wonders for an already highly regarded workplace. Regardless, you can realistically expect good food, quite reasonable prices, and very good if not...
