I provided a written "INTENT TO CANCEL" letter on 01/16/2023 and now, over 14 months later I am still having Anytime fitness call me stating that I owe membership dues for the current month (May 2024). This is after charging me during the COVID shutdown, when the gym was legally closed for over a year. Please never NEVER sign up for a membership here. Whether it's month-to-month, or under contract. DO NOT SIGN UP for a membership. I have been calling, emailing, and appearing in-person at the Bradford, PA site to cancel my membership sine 01/16/2023 and now I get hung up on via phone, no response from the emails, or the manager tells me I need to pay for "30 more days".... they also refuse to provide you a receipt of cancellation, will not give you a copy of your contract, and have you turn in your FOB so that you can no longer get into the building to speak with the manager in person.
