Byllye Lanes — Local services in Foster Township

Came here for a buddy's brother's birthday. All he wanted to do for his birthday was go bowling. We got a group of about 20 people together and headed out from Olean.

Hours posted on the business website show open until 11pm. We showed up at 9:06 pm and the three employees informed us they had just shut down. We asked about the hours posted on the website, and they informed us they had been slow so they were going home. I asked if they wanted to make some money for the business since we had over 20 people outside waiting to bowl and the kid at the counter said he had already shut everything down.

I normally don't leave a review unless I had an exceptional experience and I hate to say it but I have to call it like I see it and these were some lazy employees. Needless to say we won't be back.

Wednesday night I had decided to go in for bowling. Coincidentally it had been Pitt night. As a Pitt student I really enjoyed this. However, I get into the bar to order a drink and I am rejected because I don’t have my PITT STUDENT ID. However, I did have my actual Pennsylvania ID that states I am 22 years old, and I was still denied service. The bartender said that she would not serve me without the student ID, but was serving an older gentleman at the end of the bar who was not a Pitt student. I felt very discriminated against, and will not be returning. The bartender proceeded to have an attitude while serving my boyfriend and called him a “smart ass” for trying to justify why I should be served. Terrible experience, rude employees, dirty...

It has a nice homey feel to it. They do birthdays and allow reservations. They also have a bar which is a great addition for the adults a very cool place to hang out and bowl. I will definitely be coming back without the kids. Just me and the wife to relax and have some fun. A great place to chill. The equipment isn't top notch but the relaxed atmosphere more than...
