Miss information. Don’t recommend coming here. We had a company party here last night. Was told they do cosmic bowling Tuesday nights 9-11 (see picture on their Instagram and spoke with an asian manager who booked our reservation). However, the Staff said they don’t do cosmic bowling during the week. Was also told to check in at 8:45 via phone but when I checked in at the front the guy said to check in at 9:15pm even though we had reserved 4 lanes(after realizing the company was at fault, he did allow us to check in at 8:50pm after arguing that I had already made arrangements; you could tell I was an inconvenience for him by his response). Also any time you pay, there is only an option to pick 15% is the lowest option for a tip(doesn’t even offer 0 tip option). I don’t know why you should tip for renting out bowling lanes, that doesn’t make sense. We left a good tip for the food court staff and the bartender scott (who was great). Just disappointing to be lied to on their Instagram and the asian manager over the phone that promised us cosmic bowling when they don’t offer it. No music either, the TVs are extremely old and hard to see. It’s a scam.
Positive notes for this location is the food court staff and bartender were very friendly and helpful. The price was accurate at $15/person from.9-11pm on a Tuesday. If you want cheap pricing for bowling, then this would be a good spot to play at, but overall not a place I would recommend unless you want a dive...
Read moreHi, my name is Randy meaning "invincible War Shield". I am HOMELESS in a 2016 Kia Sorento with my disabled girlfriend of 6 years who has 5 different arthritises and fibromyalgia. I was a medic in the almighty AIR FORCE at March AFB. I took care of the only survivor of a B 52 CRASH at March AFB in Riverside. We were told that as a homeless person in a car that we would have little problems by staying on the far side of the bowling alley. We are Christians that are non- judgemental of other faiths. I like to help other homeless people who linger in the area and guide others to shelters. I have watched for mentally challenged people that could cause problems and have stirred them into other avenues of help. I also pick up tons of trash from not only the "bowling" public but from the sloppiness of many others. I also have spent $$ at the establishment...So... what do we get after this? Tuesday, the owner of the FV Bowl, he shows little courage and confronts us in his White truck, (not ever getting out of the car to confront me) and wants us to leave???? Mind you, there are only two cars parked in the back, trying to stay out of the way of "his" business and quite a few others mingling in cars within the "regular" parking lot. I told him I'm an AIR FORCE VET medic that has put in for Hud/Vash. HE did not seem to care . His duty was to call the Poilcioso and get us out!.. Thanks "boss" I will remember you in our next War/Life where I'm saving your...
Read moreI haven't been bowling in a long time and when I was I would go to Linbrook since I was on that side of OC. I know Linbrook isn't the nicest but it's spacious, the staff is ok and the people do their own thing. I was considering going to Westminster Lanes but I heard it was ghetto. So FV was the only other place nearby apparently. I tried ton go a few times but it didn't work out or people fell off. So I finally got to go last week. A friend was in town and we showed up to find out there was an hour wait. We paid and told our friends who said they'd meet us. Within 5 minutes they said your lane is ready. Now we're rushing our friends to come to us and had to prolong grabbing food first. I get things change but it would've been nice if they asked if we wanted to wait instead of us feeling the need to go now since the line was out the door.
There was no social distancing, masks weren't enforced. Everything looked outdated and doesn't look like they had time to sanitize between customers in regards to the balls, tables or chairs. They were under staffed and had one person working the front purchasing games as well as shoe rental. I know it was busy but he was very short when he spoke no room for questions. If you asked questions he was snappy and then just left you standing there waiting for him to come back or ask another question. We were unsure how to order games but felt rushed to pick and move on. The bowling part was fun but everything else, not. I...
