4/30/2021 I can't even give this a star. Whoever the 2 are people who work during lunch time on Fridays between 11:00-12:00pm at the FOUNTAIN VALLEY location are the rudest people. To the point I was afraid to eat my food. I ordered online at 10:45 to have my order ready for pick up at 11:30. They did not start my order until 11:30 when I got there. There was no one in the restaurant when I walked in. While she was making the Caprese salad, I asked if she could put red onion in it. She replied, "NO- We don't do that". I was standing right there while she was making the salad. Good customer service would be to say "Of course, how much would you like." At 11:40 and tired of waiting, I finally asked for my salad and for the time. The guy working, replied 11:34, which was wrong, because I already knew the time. I reacted and said, this was an online order that was supposed to be done at 11:30, not start at 11:30. He then proceeded to tell me to get out of his store ! I left and joined my group outside. He finally brought me the garlic nots and rolled his eyes at me when he handed them to me. Another customer pointed it out to the group, and he replies loudly "You bet I did"!! At that point I was afraid to eat the food, for fear as to what he did to it out of sight. I do need to point out, this is not the first time my order has been late with the same two people. There is a group of us that go to several restaurants next to Blaze every Friday. When one of us goes to Blaze, it is always the same two people who gives us horrible customer service. I am a teacher at a nearby school. There are over 800 families that attend our school. My next action is to send out a mass email to the families about my experience and join me in refusing to go to Blaze Pizza in FOUNTAIN VALLEY until these two people are removed...
Read moreOnly reason it does not get 1 star service is because of Daisy and the guy in the beanie on Wednesday evening. Daisy is one of those employees that drives business. Her level of professionalism with customers and her fellow employees was evident this evening. She was coaching and leading everyone behind the counter in a very calm manner. Her leadership skills were definitely on display. The rest of the team responded well to her except for the guy in glasses and a hat. He was rude when she asked him to place a pizza in the oven. He then came back to make my pizza. When I asked for him to add ricotta he rudely stated my type of pizza only has two toppings. I asked if that meant I couldn’t add toppings and he said no. The worker in the beanie must have noticed my reaction because he stepped in to help him and clarified that I could add toppings but it would make it a regular priced pizza and not a special priced pizza. I told him I was ok with it and my pizza was made. Came to Blaze because I thought I could add whatever I wanted to my pizza. Big difference between telling a customer “no” You can’t add toppings and “yes” You can add toppings for a extra charge. Guy with the glasses and hat needs some customer...
Read moreI tried the new Keto Crust ($4.00 additional charge) with the Green Stripe (pesto sauce, chicken, mozzarella, red peppers, garlic - I passed on the extra garlic). All in all I spent $14+ on a 10 - 12 inch pizza. The toppings were few and far between. A bunch of empty cheese patches.
The crust was burnt along the edges. And, the keto crust tastes like a pretzel with no salt - very bland. My buddy ordered a pepperoni and mushroom pizza. I watched the pizza guy place it in the open oven.
One edge of the pizza flopped on itself. He flipped the edge back to flat. When the pizza came out of the oven, half the pizza had no topping. The cheese had slid to one side too. My buddy advised the pizza guy. The pizza guy said sometimes pizzas come out of the oven like that.
Really? No. My buddy had to request a new pizza. He received one but he should not have to ask. It should have been offered immediately by the pizza guy.
All in all the...
