I was at this Starbuck's again this afternoon, as I often am ( I live in the neighborhood) and the people there, waiting on me and others, were: Stephen Burgess, Stephanie Pond, and Alex Boring (?).....I have been there with each of these people before, quite a few times, and I am writing to commend each of them, as well as the 3 as a team.....They are all very good baristas, and are well worth commendations as representatives of STARBUCKS......They are each versatile (I watch each of them do all the 'jobs' in the place with equal aplomb) sometimes pulling delicious espressos, sometime sweeping and cleaning table tops....I am a very picky old 75 year old man (older than God's first dog, actually !) and I have very specific instructions for my most-of-the-time drink: largest ceramic cup, three of the strongest espressos 'you can pull' (I know from a long history of this drink that it is 'a long pull'), and finally about an inch and a half of hot half and half (NO FOAM).....and everyone of them has always gotten my 'picky' order just right. Plus they serve me delicious food (usually an egg and cheese of wholegrain) and today, Alex asked 'would you like hot sauce (and he gave me a packet of SIRACHA, my favorite) which just worked to pique the taste of the sandwich.....I always leave them a tip because they always do such a good job.....And did I mention that each of them is clever, often witty, and exceptionally friendly and hospitable, just like STARBUCKS should be proud of.....This kind of service coupled with absolutely smashing STARBUCKS espresso drinks, keeps me a regular customer at this specific store.....What else could one ask for: great coffee and great baristas ! Thank you, STARBUCKS..........yogi,...
Read moreOver priced coffee....woo hoo Update So... I thought I'd give this location anther try. Wrong! Ordered the coffee - paid $4 for a small decaf 😂😭🔫 and the lady takes my name for the order - one can assume they'll call your name when your drink is ready ..... waiting...... still waiting...... The "barista" that finishes the drinks and sets them up for the customers doesn't call peoples names, even though she has it - no instead - while behind the large machines in the corner - she quietly states what the drink is - in hushed tones "lowfat decaff latte". You've all been in a Starbucks - they're loud... no one could hear her. This was obvious by the 4 or 5 cups sitting waiting to be picked up. I finally approach her and ask if one of these is mine - she said "yep - I called it out" to which I replied "use the name that was provided when the coffee was ordered and that's inn the side of the cup". I received a blank stare. So, my update, in summary is this - Over priced coffee and bad service...
Read moreI am baffled at how horrible the customer service is at this store. I visit Starbucks locations all over Tucson every single day and this is the only store I have had these kind of experiences, specifically in the afternoon. Today, February 12th at 3:51pm both The girl working the register and the man making the drinks (Kyle I believe) we’re incredibly rude. My drinks are complicated for sure but no other Starbucks treats me poorly for that. Not only were they so rude from the time I started ordering, but they then started voicing their opinions about my order right in front of me. I left with wrong orders because there was no way I felt like I could ask...
