Great festival! The competitions were fun to watch and a few world records were broken. Plenty of sun and shade with trees. Food was good! Had a scotch, sausage and potato pancakes, which were great as well! Loved the local breweries from Elizabeth and Castlerock. Plan to go again next year! Also super kid friendly.

This Celtic festival is out of the way, which helps keep it friendly and authentic. The children's Glen has great arts and crafts for the kids at no cost, donation only. The vendor tents carry great hand crafted items, or authentic merchandise from Ireland and Scotland. I think the best part is the abundance on the Clan tents. My family and I love the Elizabeth Celtic Fest and go every year. It's not a big festival which I LOVE. The crowds are small and I love taking my time walking through the vendor tents and the Clan tents. Lots of wonderful, fun people to meet and fabulous things to buy. Very fun environment with awesome food, and it is much cheaper than the Renaissance fair. So if you want a good experience without getting ripped off with tacky, fake medieval stuff, this is a great alternative plus everything there is authentic, they're not trying to make believe of a fantasy world.They are showing you their heritage...
