Elizabeth Stampede Rodeo — Local services in Four Corners States

If you have a complaint, please volunteer and help. This is a volunteer and sponsors put on event, without everyone who helps, this could never be done. I spent 100+ hours before, during, and after this event to help make it happen and spent a lot on fuel and equipment damage too.. many others spend even more and most on very little sleep. We don't do it for praise, we do it to maintain our community values and that's it. Were there issues? YES! Were things learned to improve next time? YES! Will there be new rules parks and rec, law, and the town will impose next time that make it more difficult? Willing to also say, YES! Please enjoy the Stampede for what it is, a Small Town Community Rodeo, if you waited too long for libations or food, very sorry. A real Americana experience. So much fun and a small town extravaganza. I loved everything about it. Even when somebody yelled "Hey Grandma" to get my attention to toss my drink before the coppers got me for imbibing out of bounds. They had real mutton busting with 4 and 5 yr. olds. The Rodeo clowns and the announcers were very entertaining. There were thrills and spills. Lots of Mamas and Daddies with all sizes...

I go every year to the stampede. One day for the rodeo and the other days to get turkey legs and shop the vendors. I even stop and get turkey legs to take home.
