On 02/02 a bought a brand new Mario Edition Nintendo switch from the app to pick it up from this store. The manager of the store, Ian, handed me the system once I got to the store. While I am there, I noticed the box of the switch had a dent on the side, and I told Ian that I was not comfortable with that. He told me that it's pretty normal for the boxes to be dented. I did not think much of it so I took it and left. Once I got home I noticed the box had a huge piece of it missing and you could only see it if you lifted the lid of the box. This is totally unacceptable, I purchased a brand new item from this store and I was handed a device that was already opened. I closed the lid left the item exactly how it was given to me. Today is 02/09,I went to the store before my 7 day return period was over and I made Ian and Nick aware that the item was opened before I purchased it and handed back to them exactly how I got it. Obviously, they denied everything I said. With this "very strict" policy, there should be majorly strict policies behind the conditions of the items handed to customers at the moment of purchase . I am incredibly disappointed at my experience with gamestop, I am not staying put with this situation. I need to get refunded for a product that DID NOT meet the conditions of a BRAND...
Read moreOk so this is the deal. GameStop app says they grade cards send them to PSA. Type in a zip code and it tells you what store will submit them. I type it in and it says that the Englewood story on River Point Pkwy will send them in. I drive 25 minutes drop them off and the genius that works there says we do submit them but we don’t have the shipping material to send them in. I then said on the app it says you submit them and I will drive over 50 minutes for you to tell me this. How about if you can’t submit the cards at this location UPDATE YOUR APP WHO DRIVES ALMOST AN HOUR TO BE GIVEN SOME EXCUSE THAT MAKES NO SENSE BE BETTER BECAUSE GAMESTOP FAILED WASTED MY TIME WHILE THE CLERK LAUGHS IN MY FACE while I tell him to update the ap p so you don’t screw customers. Wasted my time but the clerk thinks all good…..I think his name was NICK if he’s running things he...
Read moreAwesome people, very kind. Tried to buy a ps5 using the Zip app that is marketed in store at GameStop. Not one person including a general manager that was called on the phone in this process knew how to use it. Ended up being charged $550 (console was 520 I believe) has to dispute the charges to get the money back, call zip customer support where I sat on hold for 20 minutes and then got hung up on. Called GameStop customer support who told me to contact zip.. cancelled everything and ended up buying the system full price at the register. If I hadn’t already wasted as much time I would’ve given my money to Best Buy. Figure it out GameStop. Only reason this isn’t a 1 is that the staff was trying to help, it isn’t their fault they didn’t get proper training. Won’t be back to...
