We can go back and forth on the facts but never in my life I have yelled in any establishment no matter what happened and I would never set such an example for my kids and the people around me.
I would also suggest that when receiving negative feedback no matter how unpleasant or tough it is, a business owner should take a hard look within the organisation and consider what could be improved vs putting all the blame on the customer unless it is a blatant case of abuse, lack of respect and beyond.
Clearly, the few employees that remain and yourself continue not to make an.effort to hear out a loyal customer who in all the occasions that has been there has been nothing but kind and patient.
Instead of reiterating that I am not welcome when it is obvious I would never even consider coming back, you could have simply invited me to share our views and who knows, maybe I really did something inappropriate and I would have taken the responsibility for it by at least apologising to both you and the waitress.
I will do so anyway and I do apologize for disturbing you and your colleague. I saw how busy you are and how she was losing patience with multiple other parties and I just wanted to help.
Obviously I did not do that and I am sorry for that.
I wish you good luck and I hope things work out for all the people that depend on the success.
Original review: I dislike sharing publicly negative experiences especially on the fragile Evergreen restaurant ecosystem when I am very well aware of the challenges it is facing. But what happened this time was too much.
Another Evergreen establishment that will not be around soon . I have been going there from the beginning looking for good local restaurant and service and to support everyone that is starting something new . With every visit food , service and drinks got worse and worse but kept it to myself and did my best to enjoy . Today though a line was crossed and I cannot not share though i never do . After waiting for 15-20 min to order or for anyone to say anything I went tot the bar and asked the only waitress for the whole place and whom I know if I can order there to help her she said she doesn’t need help and I should go sit on my table r the bar . When I said ok , I am just trying to help she literally said “go sit somewhere “ I did so and when she came to a table of 10 with kids and friends I told her that this was not nice and she should not speak to customers like this . . She took the order left and in a minute the owner , manager I assume came and told me to leave immediately with all our friends and kids around . I said I will but asked if he would not know what happened and the answer was to leave now . This is a family and friends outing at 5 pm . I cannot wrap my head around it but now I understand why the staff is always leaving and customers are fewer . I hope it makes it and...
Read moreFirst time in Colorado. We only came for a quick l, first time skiing trip. We had a blast. The Lazy Butcher is a nice, laid back, chill-type restaurant and lounge. You order your food at the counter soon as you get in and then you get a number and take a seat wherever you'd like. The food comes out to you. All the staff was nice and friendly. The food came out pretty quick but was lukewarm. It wasn't hot at all. We were surprised at that because it wasn't busy. My husband had chopped brisket sandwich with Mac n cheese. My teenagers had the same except one has a wrangler smash burger with Mac n cheese. They all enjoyed the sandwiches but said the Mac n cheese was creamy but dry. Me and my youngest shared ribs and tallow fries. The fries would've been way better had they been hot and not as if they'd been sitting for 5 minutes. But my daughter loves McDonald's fries and said they taste like those so she was excited. She liked the ribs as well. They were very flavorful ribs and tender but not falling off the bone when you pick them up, which was great. They weren't too smokey or charred. I ordered an old fashion at the bar and the bartender sorta forgot about it and brought it out when we were almost done. He apologized and gave it to me on the house. It was full of whiskey! That was my first time ordering that drink. It was good...a little sweet, a little orangy, a lot of whiskey. It had one huge square ice cube which I liked because it didn't water down the drink. Overall, it was an okay experience and nice place to eat in the...
Read moreWings and Brisket and Pulled Pork oh my! Hands down my new favorite bbq place! We headed out for lunch and were looking at Evergreen. So glad we found the Lazy Butcher! The restaurant and bar have a great low-key vibe. We've been on a mission to find killer wings and these are the best I've found! Crispy but juicy perfection. The bark on the brisket is everything. Smoky, juicy goodness. So many bbq places have pulled pork that's tasty but dry. This pork was delicious and not dry at all. While the bbq sauces are really good, you don't need/want them. My husband had the Oklahoma Smash burger and loved it. The bacon in the grind added flavor. The tallow fries were great! Nice service, friendly staff too. Btw, don't miss the butcher and provisions! Great choices in...
