First our target gift card gets hacked and our money stolen.
The lady at the deli refuses to heat up my turkey sandwich because it's a "cold sandwich."
Now this... this is the last straw my family and anyone I talk to will be shopping at Walmart, not target.
I go in at target and purchase a 3ds for my kid. It's a decent deal at 175.
I go in the car and test it out, make sure it works before I make the long trip back to phoenix.
Thing is... this 3ds xl is a piece of plastic crap that my son will destroy in a week.
I go in not ten minutes later and ask for a refund immediately. I did not expect problems being that return period are usually couple weeks to a month
Boy was I wrong.
They bring in the supervisor, her name is trish. She tells me no dice. I already opened it. What???? Did I buy fish or meat, or perishables? am I crazy? This is a kids toy that I bought ten minutes ago. I opened it I'm the parking lot and everything is pristine!!!
Nope a technicality. You open, you buy(fine print). No! I don't want this piece of 200 dollar crap!
It got heated there for moment. I raised my voice which I never do. But this lady kept talking over me and down to me like I was a child.
At that point I ask for a supervisor. She says she is the supervisor. I want your supervisor. She repeats herself.
Look I'm not dumb lady, I know you have a supervisor.
She repeats herself 5 more times(at this point she's impersonating her supervisor)
She yells "fine" and storms off to lunch.
Then the nicest manager comes along. He gets it. He knows I just bought this thing.
I'm crying(I'm a guy, it's embarrassing) my hands are shaking.
He makes it right. Thanks manager.
Trish I can say without a shadow of a doubt you are the worst rep in retail I have ever delt with.
Stop being abusive to your costumers.(you lost a bunch today)
Actually, maybe you should just look into a field that doesn't...

Make sure to call the store before going. About 90% of stores here allow dogs.
I was actually impressed by the amount of printer inks they keep in stock. They sell brand name as well as remanufactured. I picked a remanufactured HP 65XL for 25.99. ..
I think that's a pretty good price. I'll report back to let you know if it was worth it.
As far as footwear is concerned. The women seem to be making out with several rows of decent quality footwear.
I was shopping for work boots and maybe some casual shoes. However, the men's section is super small and shoved off in a corner somewhere.
The shoes are some off brand. Their apparently manufactured by Skechers, so they're pretty decent in quality, but not much on looks or selections.
All the boots looked pretty cheap to me. Most of them are under targets name brand Good Fellows.
The target brand is ok for clothing. I've bought quite a bit here over years. But I wouldn't trust my feet to some low budget brand boots.
They do have a nice electronics area. From what I can see, they carry many of the higher quality name brands.
Including a camera I've been interested in. The camera on my three year old android phone can only do so much.
And I just have to say .. all white mannequins around here with no face kind of give me the creeps!
Especially at night when the stores not too crowded.
It's just me and the ghost white mannequin sentinels. I'm just sayin'!
But the extremely friendly and helpful staff here. ( they all love our dog Winnie) are able to bring me out of my mannequin haze at the check out counter, wishing us a good...
Read moreWhile Target is my preferred store to shop for all the basic essentials and staple grocery items, I am a little annoyed of their recent update to their self check out registers being only for 10 items of less. If you are going to prevent those of us who spend more money with you from being able to check ourselves out, because lord knows we are getting good at doing it ourselves, then you need to open more than just one lane with a cashier. This feels like punishment for buying more than 10 items/spending more money at your store and being forced to stand in a long line. Sitting here in a single long line while 3 out of the 4 registers in self check out are open. I am not one to break the rules or put up a fuss to those who could give me permission to. Just one of those upset customers that sits politely in silence while abiding by your silly policy. Do better Target! - I am say that to corporate policy makers - not store level leadership. We all know the labor cuts corporations are making. How about rewarding those who are still shopping at your stores locally. Hoping someone from corporate will read this and consider this feedback.
On the flip side, Milton the cashier was extremely pleasant and helpful! Showed me best ways to utilize...
