United Health Centers - Fowler — Local services in Fowler

I drive all the way from Fresno just to get the quality care that I get here at the Fowler United Health Centers. Dr. Bobby Aulakh always delivers exceptional care with both my two children (6yrs old and 5 yrs old) and myself (33 yrs old). He also see my elderly father (72yrs). You won't find another place in the valley where you can get same day appointments, ability to email your doctors, and overall friendly hospitable service at a doctors office.

Example: My 6yr old had a ongoing mucus and red scabbing on her nose. I chose to go to the Selma Clinic due to the availability of doctors at the time. I regret doing so, because that doctor recommended vaseline and said it would go away. I followed my gut instinct and asked Dr. Bobby about her nose, while I was in his office for another appt for my son. He looked at and immediately knew it was infected. Prescribed the correct meds, and it was cleared up in 2 days.

I trust their expertise here and wouldn't go...

Sadly I am writing that I received very poor customer service with no knowledge of very simple things in United Health Center in Fowler, Ca.So basically I made an appointment for physical for my child and patiently waited there first then ask for form and I mentioned that I can sign the release information paper so they can fax that directly to school . No one knows there how to deal with that and Front desk girl told me we don't do that here. I was surprised ,She told me that I have to come back next day to pick up physical form signed by doctor. In the evening they called me that I have come back to their office to sign the paper work to release information to school and I have to pay for physical for my child for school. Well I am ok to pay if they can't take insurance and I would have done that my visit if they asked...

I've had some of my worst experiences in this office. I always tell people DO NOT COME HERE! The wait time is ridiculous WITH an appappoint and Dr. Akulah is awful! The reviews have to had been purchases by him. Anyone I speak with has had issues with him as well. When I was telling him how I felt he straight laughed at me... Then i went had to go to the ER and turned out I had more than what he had "diangnosed" me with which wasnt even the correct diagnosis. This doctor is a complete narcissist!
