Panzak Park — Attraction in Fowler

A small-town city-block park and playground, a nostalgic holdover from decades past, when landscaped "natural" gardens and topographically interesting walkways weren't all the vogue. No fountains, hiking trails, and duckponds. No geological features. But plenty of large old shady trees, an old-fashioned bandstand featuring community concerts during the summer and occasional special shows in good weather, give this little resting place some of its own charm. I really love this park, something about it feels nostalgic, that could be due to the fact that Fowler is still a communal town that puts on community events, which most events take place in this park. There is a playground with swings, plenty of trees for shade, amphitheater for shows, picnic tables, large cemented area for a party with picnic tables and an awning, there is also a small court for paddle games, it's not large enough for tennis though. Small but nice park. They have swings and nice area with slides for kids to play. There was a Pickleball tournament being played while we were there. Lots of trees and grass.
