A small-town city-block park and playground, a nostalgic holdover from decades past, when landscaped "natural" gardens and topographically interesting walkways weren't all the vogue. No fountains, hiking trails, and duckponds. No geological features. But plenty of large old shady trees, an old-fashioned bandstand featuring community concerts during the summer and occasional special shows in good weather, give this little resting place some of its own charm.
