Kabab City — Restaurant in Fowler

My daughter ordered dinner for us tonight at the Fowler Kabab City. When we got home, we discovered they forgot to pack the salmon fatoush salad and a side of garlic sauce. My daughter called the restaurant and told them of their mistake. The girl said "I see it here on your ticket. We will have them make the salad. It will take 10-15 mins."

When we came back to the restaurant, the girl at the register told us, "The man just took your salad. He picked up the wrong bag." Another girl went out the door to retrieve it. I told the girl at the register "Excuse me but I don't want the salad that he just took." She said, "I'll have them make a new one." The other girl who went out the door came back and handed us the bag that the man took. I looked at her and said, "I don't want that bag."

Seriously? We are in the middle of a COVID crisis. If my daughter and I hadn't returned when we did, would they have just given us that bag back? I can't believe they made two mistakes. When the girl finally handed me the bag, she didn't even apologize for the...

This is the second time trying this place. Some dishes were order on both visits and they weren’t the same. Were not made the same way and weren’t the same portions as far as the proteins. The first time the chicken was dry and the lamb and beef were good but this time the beef was dry and the chicken was good. The difference in same dish had differ portions of protein and the salads were made different. This time they put what looked like fried pit bread on top of our salads. Why would I want fried bread o. Top of my salad? The Kabob city bowl only had four small pieces of chicken, it was mostly lettuce. All the salads we had were mostly lettuce and that fried pieces of bred on top. One of the dishes I believe should have came with garlic sauce and did t so we asked for it and they charged us for it. We order the hummus appetizer and it only came with one bread. We had to pay for each extra bread. We spent over $100 and we were not pleased. After two tries we wi t be back. Service was slow, party of 2 and we were sitting almost 30 minutes before ordering and another 20 minutes before getting our food. The food was okay, I ordered a beef kebab plate but the beef was heavily seared and I had little chunks of extremely charred beef along with the regular meat. It was like when you cook your meat in the pan too long and it is crunchy like black bacon or something. The beef that was good was closer to being well done than being medium. Being generous I would say it was medium well.

They also had holes in the vinyl tablecloths and the chairs were wobbly which really is unacceptable. The tablecloth is just really tacky with the holes in it and I would prefer no tablecloth personally. I also noticed that there were holes in the seats of some of the booths as well. Otherwise the overall decor was nice and it looked clean. I would give it another try but if it was the same as this last experience I would stick to a couple other...
