I have been conducting online commerce for more than 20 years, and this place is the worst online merchant I have ever dealt with.
I placed an online order with them on or about October 21, 2013, and received an automated e-mail acknowledging "successful initial processing" of my order. After two weeks with no further contact from them and no delivery of the merchandise, I e-mailed a brief and courteous inquiry.
Three weeks later I still had heard nothing from them, although they had charged my credit card twice for the order.
They were extremely difficult to reach by phone, as your lines were almost always busy. I got through four times: The first time was on or about November 12, when the woman I spoke to said my order would be shipped by the end of the week. The following week, still with no delivery (or any other contact) I got through three more times: Once I was put on hold for more than ten minutes, at which point I simply gave up; Once I was put on hold and then disconnected; Once someone picked up the phone and then immediately hung up on me. Granted, we were getting on toward Christmas season by now...but that's why retailers hire extra holiday staff.
When, finally, my order did arrive, one item (a jacket) was not just too large, it was ludicrously too large. When I returned it, they gave me grief about a refund and offered only a store credit.
This place is exasperating. They have a great selection of clothing in very hard to find sizes, so I'd love to patronize them, but I want nothing more to do with this company. And I would advise any other potential shoppers to stay away; find...
Read moreDo not do business with these people, they are unprofessional besides that they aren't setup for e-commerce. I put a linen suit in layaway, called a week later to get it out. On a Wednesday to be exact. So after 3 days of no tracking info I called back. Spoke with Jack and he told me it was a credit card issue. He had transposed some numbers. But no one called me, so my order sat for 3 days. Then I emailed them Tuesday to get information no response. It took me to send a nasty email to get a response. Now mind you when I spoke with Jack on Saturday about my credit card information he said that he corrected it and billed the account and he was sending it out immediately. Days pass and still no tracking info. So I sent a nasty email and finally got a tracking number from USPS, only to be told that the label had been created buy the order not picked up. WOW!! What makes me sad is I should have known better I had a similar run in with them last year when I got married. I needed the same linen suite, THERE website showed the item available. I give them a month to ship no merchandise.Only FOR ME TO HAVE TO CALL AGAIN FOR THEM TO SAY IT'S Out OF STOCK. They could have told me that a month ago. Read moreEcho many of the reviews here, I contacted them via email requiring some more information about their sizing, all seemed great, very responsive, right up until I got the order, based on their recommendations the jacket was 13inches to big even though I had given them my correct measurements, I sent the items back and was simply going to purchase smaller sizes, but did not feel I should be paying for the new sizes to be delivered as it was their fault in the first place, I required these items for an upcoming trip, and now with just over 11 days till I leave they will not reply to emails, will not answer phones, now I fear the items I sent back I wont even get refunded, as someone else said, once they have your money they offer no customer service, very disappointing as the clothing is actually very good quality, I think they make their profits in giving false advise to people about sizing them most people wont even bother sending the items back, it cost me almost 100USD to send them back.
