If I could give zero Stars I would. Apparently Roy Rogers in Franconia Springfield do not allow people with service animals in their restaurant. We walked in went up to the counter placed my order and went to the table. As always my service animals went under the table and laid on the floor. I went to get my soda and it came back and I was sitting down going through Facebook waiting for my number to be called. I was pleasantly surprised when the manager brought my tray to the table and placed it down. But the bigger surprise came when the manager also laid a carry-out bag on top of my tray and my food and proceeded to say that dogs and pets are not allowed in the store. I did ask her to repeat herself because her English was very poor. When I get the general gist of they weren't allowing my service animals to be with me I reached into their wallet and I got out a card stating the federal government laws. I tried handing it to her and saying you need to read this and she just kept on saying no no no and walked away. I then took the card up to the counter and put it down on the counter and when I went to walk away somebody behind me me to be an employee or a customer said just as loud as anything you don't need to be so rude.
My thing is if you can't say it to my face don't do it behind my back.
And according to the ada federal guidelines laws and also the state of Virginia laws service animal can go anywhere its...
Read moreI ordered a side salad, fruit, chicken strips, fries, kids cheeseburger meal with fries, strawberry shortcake & a grilled chicken meal to go. The side salad & fruit was great said my son. The cantaloupe was not juicy, but all of the other fruit was delicious. The chicken strips & mashed potatoes were delicious per my daughter. My lil guy enjoyed his meal, but it didn't come with the usual kids toy. We had to wait for our order, but the fries weren't even hot! A little disappointed. I asked Sandra for BBQ sauce for the strips. She reached below the counter & gave me 2 cups of BBQ sauce. I asked her if the grilled chicken had anything on it & she rolled her eyes & said no. I asked her for BBQ sauce for the sandwich. She pointed to the fixings bar & said there was BBQ sauce there. I walk to the bar & there's hair hanging from the opening where the sauce comes out. I walked back over to her to tell her that information & she hands me more BBQ from under the counter. My son asked for fixings & she again rolled her eyes & points him to the fixings bar. There was no fixings at the bar. When he returns & asks for tomatoes she with an attitude hands him fixings from under the counter. The biscuit was disgusting & the grilled chicken had bacon on it. So needless to say I didn't eat that sandwich last night! The experience makes me not want to eat there again EVER! Sandra was truly rude & had a nasty attitude to work...
Read moreOver the past 10 years, my wife and I have gone to Roy's several times a week/months. In recent years, we found the quantities (portions) have become less, the sizes of the Roast Beef has been smaller with buns smaller. The burgers & buns smaller, and chicken sizes, quantity is smaller while the prices of servings are higher. A customer wants a 4 pc box. Rr charges for an extra pc of chicken, instead of having a 4 pcs single person box. A customer wants a 6 pc box. I can't get it at Rr. Why?? Rr should NOT CHARGE CUSTOMERS for a single pc of chicken. But, create larger #s of chicken 4, 6 pc boxes. At a fair personal price. Too, Seniors want a personal sized box with more chicken, not higher prices. KFC and Popeyes have those as special single person boxes. 😋
A separate serious requirement is that the Kingtowne/Manchester Lakes Roy's put a hearing volume on its CNN -TV, ESPECIALLY NOW THAT TRUMP CRIMINAL TRIALS ARE COMING UP THE PUBLIC MUST SEE, HEAR WHEN EATING IN. I ALWAYS DISLIKED THE NO TV VOL. but the music...
