The other day I was in this particular target shopping for my son's 5th Birthday. As a single mom, I really don't have time without my son to shop without him. So I took him to Target so he can pick out his own toys. On our way out there was a Lego display and a nice guy whom I believe is Isiah greeted us. He offered my son a Lego vest and let him play with the display legos. He even offered me a vest and to take home a vest if there were any other kids. Isiah joked with my son about working at Target and made my son feel cool and part of the team. My son talked to this guy a bit and mentioned why we were there. The guy out of the kindness of his heart bought a small Lego set. This made my day and my son's day! When we walked out of there my son was so excited and he was so happy that he made a friend and was telling me 'It's the best day EVER!' as we walked out. I've never feel inclined to leave a positive or negative report for anything really, just not what I do. I try to always be thankful in person. I don't feel like I expressed how thankful I was to this young Target employee. I tried to leave a compliment card at the store but they don't do that sort of thing there, odd. Anyways. Read moreWhat a mess! I used the online app to locate an item supposedly in stock. Received confirmation, but no follow up. Needed gift for next day, and was hoping for an easy pick up. I tried to call ( no answer), and finally just drove over (30 min drive).
The store was swarming, and the service desk was in a tight tiny space that everyone checking out, etc. was passing through. The pick up feature is supposed to create a safer alternative in a covid impacted situation, but this was anything but. I had just had a covid test in preparation for visiting elderly family, but now I am worried about infection again. Needless to say, they couldn't find my order and didn't have it in stock, after confirming and charging me for it. Read moreMy daughters and I went to the Cool Springs location on Sunday and had the worst customer experience in self checkout. We have target circle and it was not coming off our order. We asked for assistance and the lady working self checkout said you have to push pay and choose credit card and we said no we are paying cash. She said it will come off if you listen to me. We told her we pushed pay three times and it was not working. She said very loud in the center of all the machines with other customers around I will get a manager since you people don’t know how to listen. The manager came over and she said these people are not smart enough to follow directions so I needed to have a manager come over. The manager tired the same thing we did and noticed it was not working and corrected the issue. We own a business and would never treat any customer this way. Will not go back...
