Top tier catering and truly incredible staff! Our wedding venue, Mountain Memories At Thorpewood, recommended Renaissance Catering. We went in, a couple in our 40s, with an open mind and few expectations for our 50-person wedding. But after our first tasting, we quickly decided that food was the most important part of the day. We loved EVERYTHING we ordered to try, and later, we added more to our entrees and appetizers because we couldn’t decide and wanted our guests to experience all the flavors.

The food and genuinely great interaction with Alisha and the crew leading up to the event were easy, clear, and worry-free. We didn’t have to think about the food— we knew it would be excellent (it was). But perhaps what we didn’t expect was the care and humanity the team showed us all from start to finish.

Kristen led the team day of (and met with us a few weeks prior at the venue to go over everything). We didn’t have a wedding party, but the team felt like they stood in that role. Tanya made an impression on every person I talked to after. She felt like a part of the family. Kristen, Tanya, and the team were always right there, guiding us to our table to encourage us to eat, they brought us plates full of food after photos, made sure our drinks were always full, and made breaking everything down at the end of the evening seamless.

We are so appreciative. Any aspect of a wedding for two introverts who have never hosted any kind of social gathering can be overwhelming. But it was such a relief— and a treat!— to know food was something we didn’t have to worry about. We could instead enjoy and eat! Thank you so much. Highly...

I cannot say enough good things about Alisha and Renaissance Chef Catering Company. They helped us pull together an amazing farewell party for the CEO of our Foundation. With only 2 1/2 weeks' time to plan, Alisha was incredibly patient with my many questions and requests. She was always accessible and returned my emails quickly. The food was reasonably priced and absolutely delicious. We had 175 guests and many of them complimented the food and wanted to know who the caterer was. The staff that worked the event were punctual, friendly, helpful, and incredibly professional, going above and beyond. They even cleaned the rug when a few berries were dropped and left a stain. Renaissance Chef is more than just delicious! They get what type of energy, attentiveness and personality is necessary for a wedding. The staff was AMAZING! I was one of the bridesmaids in a lovely friends wedding over the weekend. We were so lucky to be in the amazing hands of Renaissance Chef! The made sure our bride and groom were not bombarded by guests insisting on photos during dinner, she checked up on us when they noticed some confusion between the DJ and coordinator. They were so quick to reset the sweetheart table when another guest accidentally knocked a glass vase off the it. They were so attentive to any and everything which made for an extremely fun night! They never broke character. I’m pretty sure they smiled the entire evening, even during clean up. You can tell they love what they do. I would highly recommend Renaissance Chef. So much talking about the staff that I almost forgot about the food! The meat was tender, I went back for seconds and my husband for thirds!
