Harrison Crossing — Local services in Fredericksburg

Waited about 10 minutes for food which isn't a bad thing. The bad part of it all was watching cars immediately get pushed to the "waiting area" in order to keep the drive thru timer down. Biggest backup was about six cars over there while I waited in spot 2. When I looked in the window at the mirror, saw the worker drop my food, pick it up, and continue to serve orders. Granted he had two others in hand so it could have been anyone's. Took the food and checked the order only to find it was wrong. Didn't feel like going in because judging by the lack of carrying already, I wanted to minimize the chance of another wrong order or getting my food spat in. Seriously, someone's (again, might not have been mine) food hit the floor! The foot traffic is horrible in that area and I'm willing to bet my paycheck it gets cleaned maybe once a day. I’ve had food from both Basilico’s locations, Central Park and Harrison Crossing. I’m partial to HC. The front of the house is always friendly and welcoming. My go to is the Reuben because it’s always fantastic but today I got the French Dip. I’m in mid meal and writing this review because I’m so satisfied. The bread is warm with that slight crisp covering a doughy inside. The meat is tender and not at all dry. You don’t necessarily need the Au Jus, but that’s just added deliciousness. There is a little cup of horsey sauce that comes with the sandwich and it compliments the beef perfectly. The pungency or kick of the sauce is just right. Your nose won’t burn. I'm surprised to see reviews saying this shopping center is easy to get in and out of. If you use the main entrance at the stop light it can be quite difficult with people unaware of stop sign placements or how to properly use the lanes. Also the Wendy's exit is difficult to use due to it being right next to the stop sign to merge into the exit. If you visit this shopping center I recommend using the entrances/exits away from the stop light. Otherwise, the shopping center stays relatively clean and has some great...
