The Gallery — Local services in Frederickson

With many of these places… my main issue is the fact that cannabis is more of a recreational thing, rather than a medical thing nowadays… We are put on the back burner as “chronic pain patients,” who seek relief from an actual medical condition… We just don’t have the right kind of places where the medical aspects of cannabis are understood, and well versed by the people who work behind the counter…

My issue with “The Gallery,” is that we really don’t have anything promising for people with chronic illnesses… Yes, they have the same products as everyone else… but nothing that stands out for people who use their cannabis as medicine…

Furthermore, the cost of products here at this establishment, are usually much more expensive than the other local options. I don’t understand how the same exact product can jump up five to seven dollars more at “The Gallery?”

Another issue is that there are hardly any incentives to buy here… Zips and Commencement Bay have things like 35% off the store… this NEVER happens at “The Gallery.”

It just doesn’t seem practical to shop here, when there are four to five other places with the SAME STUFF, for less… sometimes MUCH less…

So WHY THE FOUR STARS???

The STAFF are freaking awesome! When you walk into this place… they are WELCOMING… for a guy like me who is old school… THIS is a RARE commodity nowadays!

Make sure you count your change before leave this place. I handed in $100 purchasing $36. The cashier-Bailey- said $64 for your change. I totally trusted and didn’t check and left. About 5 minutes later at the stop lights, I realized she only gave me $24 instead of $64. I called the place and she answered. She said she’s gonna check their camera and put me on hold that lasted 10 freaking minutes! I hung up and called back. She said she gave me $64 and I could come check if I wanted so I said I would. The next day I walked in, they already had my change ready in the envelope. What’s going on? She or they tricked me. They thought I would go away just believing what they said? For that 10 minutes of being held on the phone, she didn’t even either check the camera or was simply lying. Very untrustworthy! I’ll never ever go back...

The people are always fantastic. Prices great. I will always use the Gallery for my needs. I'm loyal. But I wish this store would have the same product as Parkland. I set my mind on what I want when I head over, but several times I end up settling for something else or driving a little further out of my way to get it. I hear you have to get rid of the product in stock before the new stuff comes in. Maybe a clearance sale? Surprises me that I am getting pre-rolled green dreams from Forte with a harvest date of November and December of last year. That tells me stock isn't moving fast or old supply was dumped there. I hope this changes soon. I need some fresh pre-rolls in all the new strains Parkland has please and thank you. Otherwise keep up the amazing work!! You guys are...
