Freeport recycle store — Local services in Freeport

Previous shopping trips here have been great. However, today I came up to drop off some donations. I got to the store 20 minutes before they were supposed to close, but found them leaving. When I questioned the time, they said since there were no customers, they would leave early. I said I only wanted to drop off some donations and the driver of the pickup gruffly said no. Come back tomorrow. I only had 4 small boxes and I dont live in Freeport so coming back tomorrow would be a waste of time. I took my stuff to Goodwill [which didn't want it either] and think in the future I will just do a "curb alert" on Facebook! This is my favorite 2nd hand store of all time, we recently moved to the area and checked it out one day and were immediately super impressed. Looks clean, smells clean, and everything is of good quality and condition and VERY fairly priced. One of the shopkeepers, Mark, is a kind and personable individual with whom we've had the pleasure of doing business with as we've been furnishing our first house together. Cool Place with neat 2nd hand items for a reasonable price. A dream come true for a young person that wants to fix up a house cheap. My only gripe is the owners friend made me feel like I wasn't welcome there. "Lock the doors, Sorry, you can't leave until you buy something" he was joking ofcorse, but we know what that comment...
