Seriously! The female owner/wife is on the verge of a breakdown!! She's totally nuts! I would almost feel sorry for her if she didn't yell and scream at me. We were in a great mood on the way To a children's birthday party. I guess my mistake according to her, was saying "how long she had been in business? It's sooo cute in here!!!!" she said, I can't believe you would conduct small talk with me while I'm trying to check you out. I was just trying to be polite and make small talk.
The female/wife owner left her husband and older daughter to make 4 drinks (for the birthday party/girl) While we stood there waiting and listening to her Little boy around the age of five, crying and screaming saying, "daddy pick me up daddy pick me up." She was down the hall talking to a friend while we waited. I asked for an extra Hot caramel latte only to get it so cool that I received it in a clear plastic cup... the same cup you get bubble tea in... Not a Styrofoam cup. I was just going to let it go as I wanted to take the bubble tea to the party until she asked what was wrong.... i answered, "nothing." She asked again so, I told her the coffee was cold. To cut in miserably horrible experience short I got screamed and yelled at after she reached for the coffee. I said it's fine, I really need to get going. Then she lost it and said "yeah get out of here You've had nothing but problems with us since we got here." and she just kept going on and on. I finally stood up for us Explaining we were in a wonderful mood going to a birthday party, hoping to give the bubble tea to the birthday girl....
She requested I tell her what was wrong.. her exact words were, can you please tell me so I can improve?" When she said that she was barely holding it together. I told her and she went ballistic.
If you go in, go in praying, and I don't mean that sarcastically. It was an awful experience, but the woman needs some serious prayer. I have never been treated, so terribly to the point,! I walked out crying... which, if you knew me, you would find kind of funny!!!
The atmosphere, got a four out of five because it was adorably decorated. It is a shame Because we called to find the location and the husband was actually nice enough outside and call us back. That was another reason why I was making small talk with her asking how long she had been in business. I thought to Myself, only a small business owner would take the time to Walk outside in the cold call a customer back.
So to be clear, that was my first impression when I went in there. I thought what a great little shop. Then I got verbally emotionally and mentally...
Read moreI’m in town for the week and have been coming here daily. It’s a cute small family business where the entire family work together as a team. The little kiddos come to work with mom and dad & play in the kiddie zone inside the café. There’s a set up outside the cafe as well where kids could pretend play with all sorts of toys and workshop. The boba queen (owner) was nice (and pretty too) and gave me mini scones to try. They go well with the hot tea I had one afternoon. There are too many drink flavors that I did not get to try them all. Next time I’m in town, I will definitely try other flavors. My personal favorite is the matcha green tea made by Russ,...
Read moreEven before becoming a regular I've always had great service with everyone there. Hands down the best place to get boba and coffee in town, hell even when it comes to out of town. They're willing to do complicated orders and are super patient. The only problem I even have is that I never end up leaving quickly because both the lovely owner and her husband are so friendly. If you love coffee, boba tea, a good sandwich, or need a quick snack this is a great...
