Found Dr Barzin through a mix of Google and Sutter Health reviews and could not be happier with my decision to trust him & his whole office with supporting me through my breast reduction. In searching for a doctor, it was extremely important for me to find a Black or darker-skinned surgeon, as I have brown skin myself and needed someone who understands how my skin scars and differs from paler and thinner skin. From the beginning, the process was super quick and every single person Ive encountered has been incredibly knowledgeable, patient, friendly, and I truly felt they had my best interest in mind throughout every step of the way.

Initially, I called for a consultation and got an appointment set within a couple weeks. At the consultation, I met with Dr Barzin & his assistant Phoenix who were able to answer all my questions, talk me through the physical process of breast reduction surgery as well as my goal size and the options we had to get there. I was able to see before/after photos and was actually able to set a surgery date for 4 weeks out that day. Was told insurance typically responds within a few weeks and actually received approval just a few days later!

Leading up to my surgery, Dr Barzin & his entire team were super communicative, patient, and helpful with answering every question I had and ensuring I was confident and comfortable in my decisions. After surgery, the healing process was admittedly a little rough on my body, but with consistent follow-up appointments with both Dr Barzin & Phoenix, I am now 1+ year post-op and could literally not be happier with my decision and Dr Barzin’s work!! I recommend every person in my life to consult with Dr Barzin if they’re interested in a breast reduction, as he was able to take my H-cup breasts down to a solid D-cup (much more suitable for my body height and size). I also began almost immediately shedding a ton of excess weight since having breast reduction surgery, and now, at 15 months post-op, I am finally happy and comfortable in my own body again

I came to Dr. Barzin after being referred to him by my PAMF primary. I have suffered from back pain most of my life which was greatly aggravated by excessively large breasts. Dr. Barzin is very professional and had a kind assistant accompany him for all my appointments. He was realistic about what I could expect from the procedure and submitted a request to insurance for me. Once I was approved, the surgery was scheduled in a timely manner at PAMFs outpatient center in Fremont.

I was skeptical about having the procedure there, because it would mean not staying in a hospital afterward. In the end however, I had everything I needed and was happy to be able to go home that day. Dr Barzin completed my procedure in under 2 and a half hours, and the entire surgery staff was so kind and nurturing. My recovery went very smoothly with the worst part being the detox from my painkillers. His staff was there to answer the couple post op questions I had, and they closely monitored my progress and recovery in the following weeks. And the most important part - I am 4+ months post op and SO happy with the results. I gained a new confidence and have finally found relief for my pain. I knew there would be scars but Dr Barzin did an incredible job keeping them as minimal as possible. I needed an implant replacement surgery because one of mine had ruptured, but I was going to get both replaced all though the other one was okay. I immediately began doing the research of finding a surgeon. I came across Dr. Barzin's profile through Sutter Health, and as I read about his work history and reviews I had higher hopes and confidence that he would do a good job of if I could secure him as my surgeon.

I met the Dr. last year, and we immediately connected! He's very kind, easy to talk to, genuinely caring and he's super knowledgeable about his trade; every time we meet he takes the time to explain everything to me and he's never in a rush.

The day of the surgery, I briefly met some of his team before going under, and they were very friendly, made sure that I was comfortable and handled me with extreme care. My recovery went pretty well and I was given all that I needed to insure that I healed well, including adhesive strips to put on my incisions to protect them; I'm so grateful to have found Dr. Barzin and his team! My implants -in my opinion- are the best ones out there and I couldn't be more pleased...
