This review is for the service department.
I had the absolute worst experience with the service here, worse than other "lesser" OEMs.
I was booked into service on a Wednesday to diagnose a minor issue with the auto headlights on my car. Michelle was the service manager. She mentioned that by the end of day, she would give me a call to update me on the car but radio silence from her over the next coupe of days until I had to follow up with her. Reaching her over the phone is IMPOSSIBLE and throughout the process, I did not receive a single phone call from her. Come Friday, she sent me a text saying the shop has NOT gotten a chance to work on my call at all. I live in Mountain View, and I had to pick the car up during rush hour on a Friday just so I can have the car for the weekend. Absolutely unacceptable to relay this message to a customer not over a phone call.
I had to be re-booked for service on Tuesday the following week, and this time, they finally worked on the car but again, zero phone calls to update on the progress. I received an automated text saying the car was ready and that was pretty much it.
This weekend I finally had a chance to drive the car for an extended period, and I noticed a trim piece is loose in the car and making a rattling noise. Not a big deal as I thought I could just bring the car in and have them re-fit the trim that they didn't do right the first time. Getting in touch with anyone from service has again been IMPOSSIBLE. I left a voicemail in the morning, sent Michelle a text to her direct number, called the service department again to get her to reach me. End of day, nobody reached out to me.
They even had the guts to ask me to rate their service highly after the whole first fiasco.
The service department here is apparently highly rated among the Porsche community, but let my experience be a warning to those looking to get their vehicles...
Read moreMy recent experience with Porsche Fremont has been very bad, to the extent that it is harming the brand. If you had decent experiences with this dealership until a few years ago, be ready to re-set your expectations to the downside. The problem with Porsche Fremont does not come from the sales associate or service advisor levels, but from the deranged philosophy held at the general manager level.
The general manager there had the audacity to state that new customers, in essence, are lower priority for them, and that they have a "rewards system," in which new Porsche sports cars (as opposed to SUV models) cannot be allocated to first-time customers easily, unless the first-time customers pay a discriminatory dealer markup to get ahead of the higher-priority repeat customers. The suggestion by the GM at Porsche Fremont was that "repeat" customers who are in the clique can get more "fair and square" business treatments at MSRP at any time, but the new customers will not, even if the dealership has allocations available immediately (i.e. not filled currently by repeat customers) for custom build orders.
Having the audacity to state such a rude discriminatory practice after a customer walk-in was not only offensive and disappointing, but this dealership also had an additional cynical audacity to send out text messages a few days later to announce that the dealer markups on the build-to-orders have gone up from $5,000 to $10,000 in less than two weeks!
Most other dealers in the Bay Area are taking build-to-order requests at MSRP for the particular model I am looking for, so it speaks volumes about Porsche Fremont's utter lack of business ethics and competitive understanding of its local market. I advise prospective Porsche buyers to shop elsewhere in...

I am deeply dissatisfied with my experience with Porsche Fremont dealer. On April 2023 I purchased a 2020 Porsche Carrera S that was sold to me as a Certified Pre-Owned (CPO) vehicle, but it has had issues from the very beginning.
After putting down a deposit, I was informed that the rear bumper had some damage. Considering it was a CPO, it should have undergone an extensive inspection before being put up for sale. However, the bumper was merely realigned and the car was sold to me without proper disclosure of its condition or what happened to it.
When I received the car, I discovered that I had only been given one key instead of the two that should come with a CPO vehicle. I contacted the salesperson and the sales manager multiple times, and even left messages with the general manager. They never picked up my calls nor bothered to call back. After reaching the general manager, he did call me back once and assured me he would take care of it and order the missing key, but after many months, I am still waiting for it.
Additionally, when I had the car serviced at my local Porsche dealer, they noticed a significantly large scratch running from the front to the rear of the car's underside. This damage was never reported on the Carfax, and it raises serious concerns about the integrity of Porsche Fremont’s CPO process.
Overall, I feel misled and ignored by Porsche Fremont. Their lack of transparency, failure to follow through on promises, and poor customer service have left me extremely frustrated. I would not recommend this dealership to anyone looking for a trustworthy CPO vehicle or reliable...
