(Breaking News to Everybody Please Read and be Aware) I had the most worst experience ever in my entire life. Going to a pawn shop at the Max it Pawn in fridley. I resently purchased a touch screen laptop there for more than $280 and some cents. I bring the laptop home 5 keys on the keyboard didn't work and the screen just went black out of no where. And the women there made me purchase a 6 month trade in if it breaks. Which she probably knew already and it was defective and they telling me I can't get my money back or store credit and the manager (Chris) told me he can cut me a deal but I still gotta give him money. I don't want no bribe for a deal I want my money or store credit not no bribe deal which made me do angry. And I have a really strong and big fan base across the web and social media and will make sure everybody I know. Knows that they sell broken items to you and laugh in your face knowingly they don't work. So if I were you never purchase anything from the Max It Pawn in Fridley MN. Bad Store, Bad Service, Bad Employees. This is just a start. They sold the wrong person broken stuff which is me and thought I was going to stay still. I fight for what I believe in. I just wanted to give my share of experience here at this location back on May 3rd with two women I came across one of the women name was Rachel and the other young lady I didn’t catch her name, but she was maybe Latino or Puerto Rican. The Puerto Rican assisted me during my visit back on that day and she did not seem like she wanted to help or assist me, but she did anyways, but she made me feel worse than I felt having to come in there to pawn something that was valuable to me and having to bring it in because of life events that were out of my control. Her service was unprofessional, and disgusting. The whole time she assisted me I felt so bad for her because she don’t love herself. Bible tells us that God is love and that love is God. Who I am today is different from who I used to be and I let her know that cause the type of woman she was to me that day I had no problem dealing with her the way she dealt with me that day. People need to examine their lives examine themselves as well cause the devil is real and it’s advocates are too. I plead the blood of Jesus over her life during the whole time she assisted me, I also apologized to her if she felt offended by me at all, but I don’t know where the offense had come from, but my point is the service was very poor and these two women were very unprofessional and I will be reporting them both to...

I bought a ring from this location a couple of weeks ago. Rachel was very friendly and informative. She helped me to feel much more secure in my purchase.

The primary downside is that the jeweler they send rings out to did a terrible job. He thinned out the shank of my ring to about 1mm which makes me so nervous that it will break when I wear it. He also damaged the crown of my ring in the process of sizing it. This makes me especially frustrated because he was asked ahead of time whether he felt he would be able to do the sizing and he said he could. I would recommend purchasing a ring and then going to a different jeweler that you trust to make any adjustments that you'll need because it's probably going to cost much more to fix the awful work that he did.

Update: I took the ring into another jeweler to get an estimate about whether it's wearable and what it would cost to get it fixed. The jeweler said that it would break quickly but that I could wear it. It would cost $400 to repair and it would still have a crack near the head that the shank repair wouldn't fix. He recommended using my grandmother's ring instead because the one I bought was damaged so extensively. The pawn shop said they wouldn't offer any refund unless I send it back to the guy who broke it for another costly repair. Thanks for breaking my ring and not being...
