I wanted to let you know that my experience with Idaho Elks Hearing and Balance Center was amazing. I provided a lot of distractions through my appointment. I needed to get my son there and had another commitment. so....... my husband took my son and was there through 1/2 of the appointment. When i came in the Dr. was willing to fill me in on what was going on. My husband left, I really felt the time to fill me in was an important part of the journey. The front staff was so kind. I had a great experience. I had a phone call for the diagnosis within days of the appointment. It really sets our minds at ease knowing what was going on with my sons hearing. We brought our newborn in for a newborn hearing exam and the staff was fantastic. When scheduling an appointment, the front desk was really kind and initially we were scheduled to go to the Nampa location but the gal told me that she’d keep me in mind in the event of a cancellation at the Fruitland office. I got a call a few days after that about an opening due to a cancellation and jumped on that opportunity. When we brought our daughter in, the audiologist was very kind and the testing went well. Being an ASL Interpreter, my ability to hear is precious. I had suspected I'd lost some hearing in the higher frequencies, and Dr. Peterson confirmed such. He was remarkably clear, and professional in his explanation, especially why it was that I was experiencing tinnitus in my right ear.
