I’ll start by saying my son and I love Idaho Pizza. He is always begging to eat pizza at the “big red barn” in town. The last few experiences we’ve had here have not been satisfactory, and today was so much so, that I’m not sure I will return. Today is Friday. It was 4pm when we ordered pizza to go and waited there for pick up. It was not busy at this hour. 2 tables were eating. 2 other tables were waiting like us. There were many staff members on shift. All moving quite slow, which didn’t bother me at all until it had been almost an hour and no one had been served their food. The front counter clerk gave me my pizza and told me a few minutes on the garlic bread. I was okay with that. We waited. Mind you, we ordered carry out to eat at home. Counter clerk comes by again telling me “ A minute or 2 left on the garlic bread. I’m not sure why it’s taking so long. I’m sorry about your wait.” 15-20 minutes later, the family that ordered their pizza long after I, was complaining to a staff member about the long wait just as I went to approach about my garlic bread and the fact that the pizza im carrying out is now cold. The staff member I asked walked away without saying anything to me and another came by immediately after with my garlic bread that had been sitting behind the counter for god knows why. No one apologizes or offers an explanation. Just hands it to me. I’m fed up at this point, my son is starving, so I take our garlic bread and we head home. I get home and our pizza is rubbery cold, garlic bread tough and dry, and our pizza isn’t even cut all the way through! I call to speak with the manager on shift, and am led to leave a voicemail. 2 hours later, still no call-back. It’d be one thing if it were busy and staff looked like they were trying to keep up. There is absolutely no excuse for such poor customer service like this. I didn’t buy cheap pizza. On the contrary, it’s expensive. 2 medium drinks cost me almost $6 and they are not the actual 16oz size, FYI. Their “mediums” are everywhere else’s size small. I paid that in cash after my initial order and that was $40. There were so many staff members on shift for being as slow as they were at the time and all moving like they’ve never worked a day in customer service before. For the amount I’ve just paid, and we couldn’t even...
Read moreWe have been to this place three times so far. The pizza is great! A little on the pricier side and they are a little skimpier on some of their toppings. The staff is very nice and polite. Service is very quick, food has always came quickly.
However... We went there last night and ordered a pizza. My son wanted Green bell peppers on his half of the pizza. When we got it there were hardly any peppers and what was on there was not distributed very well. A couple of pieces of pizza had most of the peppers and the rest only had a few, there were even a couple of pieces that had only one piece of pepper. We asked the server about it and she got the manager for us. The lady came over to us, in a wet shirt probably from doing the dishes, there are such things known as aprons that help with that, and she looked at the pizza and still had to go ask the pizza makers about it. Then came back to us. We agreed that she could just bring us some more peppers. The worst part was here fake attitude. As she was apologizing she literally sounded like she was trying to remember what the text book said while she was saying it. She was acting like she was trying to be sincere but it seemed so fake. She was loudly saying to us "IF... there is... ANYTHING... else... "I" can do for... YOU...YOU just let ME know." Later she swung back by and asked "How is EVERYTHING since "I" fixed it for YOU?" The server that brought us our pizza to begin with was very sincere and natural sounding after she came back a couple of times and asked us how things were. Yes I will go back again, the pizza still tastes very good and I had no problem with the service but I would hope that the manager will learn better people and ;management skills. I would give this 5 stars but the manager and the skimpy toppings caused me to give only 3. Hopefully I will be able to update it to 4 or 5...
Read moreI ordered pizza for my pharmacist for world pharmacist day to show my appreciation for them. I placed the order at the Fruitland location at 11:41 a.m. I waited over their quote time and called them to see where the pizza was. The person on the phone told me that the driver got lost for the previous house and that he was headed back to the restaurant and that I was next. This was at 12:50. I said ok and hung up. I called them back at 1:30 to see what is going on because it's now been an hour and 45 minutes. The manager Titus told me that his driver was coming back from the previous house and then he will be bringing mine. I asked if it's going to even be good anymore because it's been out of the oven for over an hour. He said it wasn't out for an hour. I then expressed to him that I ordered that early because I needed it for my pharmacist that is now leaving for the day. He then asked if I wanted a refund, I said I guess so... thinking I would still get the pizza because this was their mess up. I got nothing and had people waiting on pizza that never came. It looked very bad on my part to the people here at my work that I was trying to show appreciation for. I am supposed to sign a slip for the refund and it's been 30 minutes since the last call to them and if they don't get here in the next 10 minutes, I will be in a conference call and unable to sign that slip. Makes me concerned if i will even get the...
