We have purchased here before and the experience wasn’t our favorite, but I wanted to get my husband an engagement band. We walked in and the atmosphere felt a little frosty, but we spoke with the woman behind the counter. My partner was vocal about being uncomfortable with a tight fit, and instead of having a personable attitude while explaining why she was suggesting the half size smaller, she was a bit dismissive and at one point just straight told us, rudely, that if he went with that he was making a mistake. Then, she just ignored the size request and was going to order in the half size down ANYWAY. So she had made that decision for us. We left and went to Riverside Jewelers where they were knowledgeable and explained everything well and clearly. We got a nice band that they could do in a 3/4 size so it let him not feel claustrophobic but will still be tight enough to stay on. We won’t be shopping here again. We felt like we were being spoken to like we couldn’t afford what they had and it just… was not welcoming or comfortable. Last two times I have tried to use them for resizing, the lady who works the front of shop has been rude. This last time, I brought my mother in to have her finger sized and to resize a ring. The lady was short with us during the finger sizing. Then, told us to come back later due to the jeweler eating lunch. The time before that she made rude remarks about the worth of a particular ring I had that I wanted resized. Will never go back. She needs to work on her customer service skills.
