My family was very disappointed in the service we received from this company. We chose this company to provide a groom's cake for our son's wedding. They were difficult to communicate with and it would take several days to receive responses from our calls or text messages. We visited their business on June 12th to finalize all the details of the cake order for a July 20, 2024 wedding. My wife discussed in detail the cake she wanted for the wedding and fruit to go with the cake. Our Biggest mistake was that we paid in full that day for the order. The cake was to be delivered on the day of the wedding to the venue at 4:15 pm. The company was over an hour late because they sent it to the wrong venue even though the owner had written the venue down and discussed with us details about the venue. The cake was not completed to our specifications, the chocolate drizzle we requested was missing and the cake's texture was not acceptable. It had hard parts to it as if it had been baked too long. The saddest part to this whole review is we have waited for a courtesy call from the business for 4 days and have yet to receive one. What a delightful surprise! The owner was so nice. We chatted about the store and how the foods are prepared. Even gave us samples of ice cream and an orange/fudge that was DELISH! Went back to try the cheesecake and was just not as happy with that as I'd hoped. It was nice, but not what I was hoping to find. Very glad I tried it before I spent the $ to make it myself. Just a bit sweet for my taste is all. It was also a bit pricey but as a homemaker.. believe me, the quality of the ingredients they use are not cheap. A great addition to our hometown. We've used them for YEARS but recently things have just gone down hill. The last few cheesecake We've gotten out of the case had hard bits like they've been out too long. The tipping factor was a cake we recently picked up. We paid around 80 and the cake didn't have a middle layer filling like we asked and paid for, the wiring was done poorly and scrapped off and redone but you could see where it was scrapped off before.
