I was super excited to book The Lily Pad Florist for my wedding. I met with Shannon and went over my colors and thoughts of what I was looking for. At the time I met with her, I was told to send her ideas anytime via cell phone and we had plenty of time to come up with the arrangements as the wedding was several months out.
However, the service has not been what I expected as a paying client. I made a change and asked for an updated quote. It took me a week and a half to get the quote after I was told I would have it in two days and then had to request it multiple times. Again, still several months out from the wedding. I decided to make one more change and asked for an updated quote. Instead of being told that she wasn't in the office and she would get it to me, she tells me to add the additional charge to the existing quote which is should have ultimately been less. When I questioned this, I received this response, "Honey, my store hasn't even opened. I'm not sitting in my office at the moment. I have no clue, I have a lot of weddings and you keep changing everything, so bear with me." Needless, to say as the paying client, I was extremely shocked. At this point, I decided to cancel her service. I then received this response, "I'm sorry you took it the wrong way, that's a shame."
I have been in customer service for many years and that is not the response you give a paying client. I would have completely understood had she told me that she wasn't in the office and she would have my updated quote by a given time. As the bride, I want the wedding day to be perfect and I feel like changing my mind twice is not that big of a deal, given the fact that again we still have several months until...
Read moreStore owner blocks the public sidewalk with junk so that people cannot freely pass (especially those in wheelchairs). I witnessed her chasing a guy down the sidewalk who asked her politely to make the sidewalk accessible for everyone to pass and was cussing him up and down and calling him a R*rd (this is 2022, no one should call someone that word) and other expletives. I later learned this man is a disabled veteran who was simply trying to conduct his business in the shopping center and had trouble getting past all of the decorative clutter blocking the sidewalk. The owner was so loud people stopped to record her from all around the strip mall and I did not feel safe for my family because of her actions. I later learned that this owner makes TikToks regularly belittling and making fun of her own customers. Apparently all of that pretty decorative stuff blocking the sidewalk is there to keep people from seeing the UGLY behind the counter inside the shop. I will never do business with this business because of the behavior of the owner and I would suggest others...
Read moreSo my initial experience with lpf (lilly pad florist) came around mother's day. My son and i were visiting vendor sites and we noticed mothers day bouquets were being made on spot. They were beautiful. I was so impressed I decided then that the next time I needed a florist I would use lpf. So that time came last Saturday. Even though I was on a tight budget, the arrangement made for me was so beautiful. It looked like i spent a lot more than I did. The arrangement was so beautiful and the colors, flowers, etc...were so appropriate. When I got to church the next morning, I was pleasantly surprised to c my lpf arrangement up front on the altar table for everyone to c. I found out from family members they had been put there because everyone liked them so much. This arrangement was the only one the family wanted to take with them. I would highly recommend lpf for all of ur floral needs. Their flowers r so fresh and fragrant. The ladies working there r so nice, knowledgeable and caring. Lilly pad florist is truly an asset to the...
