Coop De Ville Restaurant — Restaurant in Gadsden

I really thought this would be a good place to eat since the one in Jacksonville, AL is always amazing. I would not recommend this place. I ordered a basic cheese burger with onion rings. My boyfriend ordered a chicken sandwich and fries. We also ordered an appetizer tater skins which seemed to be old like cooked day before. The sweet tea tasted spoiled. It took 45 minutes maybe longer to get my burger. The excuse was it takes time for the grill to warm up. My onion rings were burnt and the burger tasted like chemicals. By the time the food arrived we had to take a few bites and leave to get to the place we were going in time. I have never seen a business ran like this especially not even being busy. When we went to pay. I found out the reason everything was in slow motion. If you have a tv in the kitchen with sports playing then you won't get the guys in the kitchen to cook. All 3 were just standing there by the window and door eyes glued to the TV. I get sports are important but when it becomes a distraction from cooking food that is a problem for business and quality of food. No reason onion rings burnt if the cook was paying attention. No reason it takes a burger over 45 mints to cook. I have cooked in restaurants. Next time I am in Gasden, I will never return here. So, if anyone is reading my review, here are the best places that I have been to in gasden to eat. El Patons is a good Mexican restaurant it is across from old good year factory. Jefferson's. Olive Garden, and Long Horn. I will now only eat at the jacksonville location. Save your money. ...

Went for lunch to their "new" (I think, I haven't been in town for a few years) sit down restaurant and got the combo 8 Garlic Romano Ranch boneless wings with fries and drink and Omg...those were the best wings I think I have ever had, and I have had plenty over the years. They were perfectly flavored, and they were "wet" with the sauce, just like I like them. The fries were seasoned (not sure with what) and were also delicious, and I dipped them in the side of Ranch and into the wing sauce. So dang good. I used to go to the Jacksonville drive thru location, and those wings were perfect as well. When I saw this location, I knew I had to go there and give it a try. We wouldn't return as it was bowling alley quality. We walked in at an odd hour, 4pm, and everyone looked at us like we walked in the wrong door so I had to ask if this was the right entrance. It wasn't set up well with kitchen tables setup by the front door for overstock cups and such. We sat ourselves and ordered. We only ordered a 10 piece wings and an appetizer but waited quite a bit. Nobody was there. Loaded nachos were laughable and even the waitress made a joke about it being "loaded." It had just a simple salsa and nacho cheese. Nothing loaded about it. Had a small cup of jalapeños and a packet of sour cream. I thought they brought me the wrong item so I brought up reviews for pictures and nope.. this is "loaded."
