Attention anyone who thinks they are getting (and paying for) Pink & White you are being lied to. I have worn Pink & White for years, when I have them removed for a new set my nails are very healthy. After stopping in for a pink & white fill the attendant was screwing up my nails, the white tips were all over the place. After 4 nails in I let the owner know the girl did not know what she was doing. Tracy just said, tell her what you want. I should have just gotten up and walked away but let her keep going. After finishing the right hand, 3 out of the 5 nails the white tip wasn't even close to being straight. She ran the brush over the white portion and then the white went over my whole nail. By the time she got to my right hand I had lumps in my nails along with the horrible white lines going half way up my nail. Again 3 of those nails had a hazy while look over the whole nail. That was NOT anything that could be fixed. Anyone who has the Pink and White knows that the white portion is separate and done after the pink part. I have NEVER walked out on a service in my life or half way into one. I gave my credit card, still willing to pay for the mess. The owner Tracy didn't want to hurt her employees feelings. I then proceeded to go back to my original nail salon Asia Nail where they immediately removed the Pink & White back to my own nails. I was horrified to see how damaged my nails now were since going to Chic Nail. AGAIN, they are using the chemical and NOT the actual Pink and White although they will show you the containers are the same. They are NOT, they are using the chemicals that damage your nails. One VERY unhappy customer. I also do not like being lied to which I feel they do.

I was happy to find this salon since it is so conveniently close to my house, however my most recent visit will be my last. I had an appointment for 9am, the door was locked at 9am so I headed back to my car to wait. Almost 10 after, another lady and I were let in. Although I had made an appointment, a “walk-in” was helped first and I was told my nail tech was coming soon. As I sat for 40 minutes, I wasn’t informed on who was helping me or when, then I was told the owner, Tracy, would be. Once she arrived, she proceeded to do my nails quickly, so quickly she over filed one of my natural nails but assured me she would fill in the gap later. Throughout the application, Tracy was distracted and as a result I had to bring several mistakes to her attention. An hour long appointment turned into two and by the end I was very upset with what I was left with. Upon checkout, I asked for a discount for my troubles (she did not offer). Tracy offered $5 off, I explained to her not only did I have to wait, I was having to leave with a damaged nail. So I asked if she could offer more, she responded with “Well what do you want?! I already offered you 10% off, you want 20%?” To be the owner, and to have handle an unpleased client how she chose to...

I’m so glad I found Chic Nails while I’ve been in Michigan for work. Being out of town, I’m usually super particular (and honestly a little nervous) about trying new places because I really baby my nails. But Tracy, the owner, immediately picked up on that and made me feel completely at ease.

The first time I came in, I showed her an inspiration photo, and she didn’t just match it — she made it even more beautiful. I left with the most gorgeous, dreamy glass nails I’ve ever had. I loved them so much that I came back again, and of course, Tracy delivered perfectly once again. This time, I even brought an inspiration photo with me, and she recreated it almost exactly.

What I especially love is the way she shaped and flowed the nails — they’re elegant, natural, and truly artistic. Tracy doesn’t just “do nails”; she creates them like an artist. I’ve honestly never had nails this beautiful.
