I just saw the new Michael Myers at this theater. The movie itself was great and I highly recommend seeing it. Unfortunately that doesn't really say anything about the service here. The woman working at the ticket booth was incredibly pleasant and after the conversation I had with her before entering the theater I am absolutely certain our poor experience was in no way her fault.
Their computer system glitched and we were printed two movie tickets for an hour after the showtime we wanted as well as an additional ticket for venom which is why I am certain their system was failing. In addition we purchased popcorn, drinks, and a couple snacks. We were directed to our theater and when we walked it had appeared the movie had already started. This was not the case.
We ended up being directed to a theater where the final scene of the movie was playing which ruined the end. So we went out to customer service and complained. Now this guy, Sean McCloud, he is what ruined my night. He was very terse and seemed to be aggravated that we were complaining. He informed us that this had been happening all night and that there was nothing he could do about it.
Now having been to other Regal theaters I know this not to be the case. Typically if there is an issue with your movie they will offer something like a free snack, drink, or even future movie tickets.
This is not what I expect of Regal theaters and additionally I felt as though he was taking advantage of the fact that I was a college student. (Because, you know, college kids try and get free things a lot, its a stereo type.)
I feel if the theater ruins the end of a movie for you they should at least try to rectify the action in some way but this was not the case. I will never be going to this theater again.
Additionally, if management is reading this, please know that Sean McCloud in no way should be representing Regal Theaters as a Customer...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreHorrible customer service!!!! Came to watch a movie, coming in we were standing and waiting to get snacks and the girl stocking the candy wouldnāt even be respectful enough to move so we could walk up to the counter and order. On top of that she looked back twice at us seeing us standing there and still didnāt move. So we waited until she went to grab more and then walked up and ordered. Before walking away she tells me where to pick up my pizza up I had ordered at. Due to our hands being full we went and sat our stuff down and then went back to check on it. I go back and Iām standing there for over 5mins while they are both stalking, the guy doesnāt see me but she looks at me more than 3 times and Iām waiting for her to greet me and say hey your pizza is ready or how can I help you. No she continues to ignore me and keeps stocking candy. Mind you once again where I was standing is where I needed to pick up my food like she said. So I go around the corner and ask the guy if itās not an issue can he tell me how long before my pizza is done. He says itās ready, so I tell him how I was standing there waiting and never got greeted or communicated with and how she saw me standing there. He says I apologize I didnāt see you. I said sir I know you didnāt see me but she did and the fact she sat there and ignored me or refused to greet or approach me was sad. A customer walking up or coming back should be greeted I shouldnāt have even had to speak first. She was rude as hell and then the failed to tell us walking into the theatre that the carpet was soak and wet by the door and had a smell to it. Much as I used to bring my kids here first time I ever received bad customer service. Didnāt even get an apology or a manager, just a disgusting look from her as if she had not done...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIām literally at the movie location now in the theater writing this. I came in and purchased tickets for my son and I at the Kiosk. I proceeded to go to the counter to purchase some snacks for my son. The guy at the counter says nothing but stares at me. Iām like hello. He says nothing. I ask āwhat size popcorns do you have?ā He holds up the popcorn containers and one by one shows them to me but never says a word. I ask āDo you speak english?ā He responds āYes, Iām on the headset talking to my bossā. Iām like I canāt tell considering you have said nothing ever since I came to this counter but you were doing all of the talking with the previous family that was here before (I literally listened to him greet them and chat with them as they ordered things). He then goes āwhat can I get for you?ā I told him what I wanted, gave him my money, and he dropped the change in my hand that I was holding out. He went and got the popcorn and passive aggressively dropped the bag on the counter, spilling popcorn out. At this point Iām thinking let me talk to his manager. I ask him where is his manager, he points to him and so I make my way over. I tell the manager the issue and ask him to talk to his employee about customer service and not being rude to customers and his whole facial expression just says āand what do you want me to do about itā. He asked what I was here to see, I told him, and then silenece. I walked pff at that point because Iām like what was the point of telling you that your trash employee is being unnecessarily rude and just aggressive and youāre looking at me like I have 3 heads. Definitely wonāt be coming back. Quality of service has been on a decline for the...
