Diamond Square — Local services in Gaithersburg

Conveniently located. I visit the Einstein Bagels and Starbucks regularly. Starbucks drive-through is now open 24-hours a day - great for coffee lovers craving for some late-night or early-morning caffeine. The parking spaces are tight and if you happen to park in a spot that is blocked by a Starbucks drive-through customer line, good luck. If you are visiting the shopping center, it makes sense to not park near the Starbucks drive-through line. There are other stores (Giant, Jimmy John's, Chinese restaurant, etc) and they recently spruced up the strip mall. The much anticipated donuts shop Duck Donuts has also opened it's doors. If you have not enjoyed these donuts, I suggest you try them. You will not regret this.

There's not much of interest here. It's apparent that the housing in the area has inadequate or non-existent laundry facilities because this little shopping center has a large, spacious, clean, and we'll lit laundromat. It always smells good when I walk by. It has lots of machines and seems to be popular. It looks like families go there with weekly laundry. I would go there if I didn't have laundry in my building.

There is a large hibachi buffet there. I have tried it but don't plan to go back. The shopping center is generally lackluster.

The reason I go to this shopping center is for the Giant Food. When they closed the "Tiny" Giant on Watkins Mill Road several years ago this one became possibly the smallest...

This place is dangerous to drive around in. People park in front of the stores (there are no parking spots in front of the stores) which makes navigation of two cars that could normally pass without a problem a nightmare. The parking spaces are at an angle, one one way the other the other way (hope that makes sense) and their very close together. I generally don't like going to this shopping center, but there is a Starbucks there (still a nightmare to get in and out of the drive through...the line goes behind a line of parked cars wanting to get out while you sit behind them and exiting is hard because it's hard to see if other cars are coming). Basically I hate shopping there but...
